Opened up my meal to find that an employee took a bite out of my hush puppy. They didn't deny it, and even said the name of the employee they know to be doing it. Absolutely disgusting and I will NEVER be eating here.

I usually enjoy the food at Captain Ds but today was terrible! Since when does the fish and chicken come with shrimp? The servings were extremely small (not like in the past) and the food tasted like it was leftover from the day before. Everything was greasy and gross. The sweet tea was excellent though.
I seldom make formal complaints but I went to pickup dinner for my family. Used a coupon for a 10 pc meal. Waited 15-20 minutes, in drive thru i got all the way home to eat and was given 5 pcs of fish not 10 when I went back for the rest, they loudly expressed how I was lying. Very upsetting. I received the 5 pics of broken fish.
One platter is enough food for two people. It had shrimp, fish and chicken. Coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. They were out of some condiments and didn't seem to happy to be asked for some. But they were busy. Coupons! We want to give it another try.
Ordered the catfish combo with six shrimp, green beans, a Pepsi no ice, and a side of oysters $13+....got home to realize everything was mixed together with the wet green beans and oops no Pepsi....drove back because all the fried food was wet...new order they put everything in separate containers, made sure I got my Pepsi, gave me an extra piece of catfish 'for my trouble'...got home- no shrimp...Not a single customer but me at the place and they got it wrong twice...I go there at least once a week... I'm done... So disappointed
I loved trying the Dine - In ,as we always do the Drive thru well what a great experience ? it was like being transported to a coastal area. Everyone is so nice and helpful, there seemed to be more atmosphere going inside with all the photos and hungry eager patriots. Oh my I love Captain D's even better now ! Thank You for yummy food and a friendly bunch. ☀️??
I have always been a great fan of Captain Ds. Today was the first time I had a bad experience, so bad I was inspired to review the place. The fish was much smaller and smelled bad and I couldn't even eat it. What shame. What a waist! I wont be going back. Very sad! Update: I was up all night with intestinal distress and now I have no doubt that smelly fish was bad. I will NEVER go to that store on 3630 N Fwy Rd, Pueblo, CO 81008 again. BEWARE!
I don't know what happened to this place. It was very good about double checking your order and had very good customer service. Not so much now; very, very rude workers.. won't be going back..
When they are good, they are good. Unfortunately most of the time they are horrible. Food is decent, but the service is lackluster. LOOOONG wait times though the drive-thru no matter the capacity, and there is always a missing item or two. Not to mention, they never know the menu. Kinda frustrating.
I would've given them a higher rating, but the service can leave you regretting your choice. Last time I was there, the manager was very rude. I took 1 look at me in my car and didn't even bother to acknowledge me. He proceeded to stand at the counter and take more orders. I had already been waiting for 15 minutes in the drive thru as well. He made me wait an additional 3 minutes before I just pulled off. He should've at least addressed me and taken my money. I would've had to wait a little longer. Gotta do better. I can cook my own fish.
