Usually not a fan of the punny-named Vietnamese restaurants, but gave this one a try and WTP, was very impressed! The pho had a very nice and clean balance of flavors, and rolls we ordered were fresh and well portioned. The space itself is nice and roomy and service was good.
First time here and it was pretty good! The small portion is a bit small for the price. I had literally 5 pieces of meat. Yes I counted. But it was tasty! I never eat more than a small but when I come again I will have to order a medium! Good service, kind waiter. No complaints really!
I wish we could have tried this amazing food. It was our first time there and our son threw the straws on the floor so my husband popped him on the hand. The black-haired high school aged girl who works there, felt it was appropriate to continuously and loudly voice her opinions behind the counter, of how we beat him to shut him up! She continued to say that she got beat when she ran away from home for 4 hours BUT what we did was not ok! I asked if there was a problem and that snarky little attitude kept coming at us. She kept saying this was a family restaurant… absolutely it is, and the behavior and how we reprimand our children (which was a pop on the hand) was not her business to speak on. We will not have our kids ruin other families experience at dinner time in public.IF THE OWNER IS READING THIS- please reconsider who you have staffed because this lost the business money. She is the epitome of what’s wrong in this world and the entitlement of youth. Thinking they can say whatever they want whether at work or not, and not being reprimanded for their mouths. An employee who can’t be professional like the other young, long haired girl and guy who worked there (who said they didn’t “want to be involved” and just wanted to do their job), is a very high risk to small business. Hope we can comeBack when she isn’t there.
They we slammed and had to close due to staff shortage but whoever was in and eating they took really good care of us. On 2 people working. Food is awesome and the staff is very friendly even under stress. Great job ladies. I'll be back. Plus it's a great meal right after working out at the gym next door.
What the Pho Parker has delicious food! They have had their COVID challenges like every other restaurant, but they are trying and making good food - so I'm giving them 5 stars! Their Thai iced tea is supper yummy too.
I love this place! Always clean, fast, attentive, and friendly. Pho is delicious and so are the Boba drinks!! I love to frequent this place for my pho fix!!
We love this place! Somehow everyone who gave it less than 4 stars complained about the 18% added gratuity ... then went on to swear that wasn't the reason they gave a bad review. They always alert you to the sign as well as the instructions that vegetables/garnish for your PHO are by request to avoid waste.
Only 7 tables. Each table has a big sign that says "thanks to government handouts nobody wants to work, so we add 18% gratuity to every bill" which is actually less than I usually tip, but set the tone for the rest of the meal. The meat in the pho was literally half fat. Big thick strips of fat, so nasty I picked out all the "meat". I had a medium pho, a small pho, and 1 appetizer with a Boba drink. Total out the door $49. This place, hate to say, is a ripoff, overpriced for poor quality food and resentful service. If you don't want to run a decent operation please just close down. Definitely avoid.
The Pho has a very good broth but it has a lot of vermicelli. The vermicelli dishes need more veggies and meat. Less vermicelli. I am not paying $12. 95 for a bowl off vermicelli . The spring rolls are mostly vermicelli. All that Vermicelli is just filler. Spring rolls should be about veggies.
1/15/22-Once they sat us down and we went to order they pointed out a sign that showed they automatically charged 18% tip. I wanted to leave because places that do this are just giving their wait staff permission to give bad service, but my mom wanted to stay and give them a chance. This place proved me right. First it was freezing in there and I found myself shivering even with a winter coat on. Then we had ordered Boba drinks that they didn't even start to make them until they served my mom her food. Drinks should never arrive after the food. If it takes you that long to get drinks out then you have issues. Then they had bad timing both in the kitchen and in serving the food. My mom's food came out 10 minutes before mine did. The food was about average or 3 stars. The bobas were also hard which means they were not prepared correctly. A good waiter knows that you serve the whole table at once and not in pieces. Then I wasn't even offered a water refill till we were asking for the bill to go.This place reinforces horrible customer service from its wait staff. I worked in food service for seven years and earned good tips by doing good service. This place charges you for bad service. Do not go to this place until they either change their auto tipping policy or hire wait staff that actually deserves to get tips. Just avoid this place. There are better options nearby that have better service and better food.
