This is really good chicken, I would recommend this place If you are nearby. I ate inside the store so I got the food right out of the fryer. The chicken was super juicy and soft, and the chicken felt high quality. The breading on the chicken was crisp and salty, which tasted amazing with the chicken. The fries that they give you are in my opinion, some of the best you can get. They are crispy on the outside but then soft on the inside, and they have just the right amount of salt to them to give the flavor just the little nudge it needs. The customer service was great and the overall atmosphere was too. But now it's time for the downsides. They have way too many sauces to choose from, it's hard to find one that is perfect for you. Also the saltiness on the chicken breading was inconsistent, one but you would get no salt and the next would be too salty. But other than that, this is a fantastic place to go, and I would recommend it if you are anywhere from a 5-20min drive away.
Let me say this first, the owner and her husband are amazing people. The food on the other hand has progressively gotten worse. You can’t go wrong with the mango habanero Buffalo chicken fries. The wings here are not good. I’ve complained once already. The wings are undercooked every time and I mean every time! The wings are so undercooked as you can see pictured and there’s more seasoning on the container than on the wings. Complete trash. Pickle fries are so undercooked that they taste like flower. Bought a meal for my family and trashed everything but the Buffalo fries that were also soggy and undercooked. Waste of money and so disappointing. This happens every time I come here which isn’t much anymore. The kitchen staff needs training.
Chicken is pretty good ask for well done fries and they always come out floppy. Wish a little crisper. Still good. I'll take them home and throw them in the air flyer.
Wings are fire!! Chilli cheese fries ? are great! Strange vibe though. They have 3 tvs that weren't on and they started putting up the chairs while I was sitting there. Still 5 ? worthy
I'm a HUGE wing fan and I am so glad a found this spot!! Wings were amazing, I had the creamy garlic parmesan sauce. I'll definitely be back. I also got the fries with garlic and cheese. New favorite!
Kind of a mixed bag. The chicken wings were really tasty and crispy, but super dry and chewy. I think they were just old to be honest... The fries were actually really good and surprised me. BUT they charged $0.50 for take out even though I ordered in the store and charged almost $3 for 3 small ranches?!? Thats pretty tacky if you ask me. Over all i think I will try it again hopefully its a bit better the second time.
I love chicken shack!!! I'm addicted. I go at least once a month if not once every other month. I always get 12 wings, breaded, extra crispy. Tossed in their Habanero Honey and then the same sauce on the side(it comes with 2) With that being said, if the owners/management read this please!!!! More often than not, my wings can be a little dry. I sometimes have to ask for extra sauce and beg to not be charged because it's as if the staff barely tosses them in the sauce. If I'm paying A LOT of money for 12 wings I expect them to be heavily sauced, that's the point of wings right? Which kind of brings me to my next point. It's super EXPENSIVE. Almost $17 for a dozen wings? They are big but again, it's wings. If they had more deals or brought down their prices I would go there even more but I know it's just a ton of money each and every time I go, then if I get food for the wife and kids...forget about it. Please don't get me wrong, I love this place!!! I just wish it was a little bit more affordable and waayyyy more sauce. Staff is always friendly, and I think the owners are from Vegas which is one of my favorite cities in the world and the new home of my favorite professional football team ;)
Not a day goes by that I don't crave chicken fries. I have my credit card number memorized from calling in orders as I'm driving to the shack. Once you've had Shack, you never go back.
Mediocre at best. Fries weren't crisp. BBQ sauce was meh. Coleslaw was bland. Young guy working the counter was pretty useless in answering questions. Also the paper straws suck so it went from 2 to 1 stars. First and last time.
I’d heard good things about the place, so I gave it a try. Ordered three tenders and fries. Tenders were large, but REALLY tough and chewy. I could only get through 2 of them. The fries were hot and fresh, but they were battered fries, which I really don’t care for. I won’t be back, there are way better options out there.
