Unfortunately, for a long time, I loved this place. It was my go to for celebrations, birthdays, and family events. It's loud, it's chaotic and the host/hostess doesn't want to deal with you. I ignored these small issues because - it's hibachi.Ever since 2020, we moved on to pick up. But today, something went wrong.I ordered on their app, beyond menu, and made sure to give 45 minutes as we got the sushi for two plus two more rolls. I get there at the designated time and they tell me they don't have the order. Ok no problem, let me get my order number. From here, I later realized they just really didn't want to do my order...The second hostess turns around to a printer, looks at the paper in it, folds it, then stabs it in the stake of (I assume) completed orders, turns and tells me, "I don't have it, would you like a refund or wait 30 minutes." Later, it occurred to me they wouldn't have been able to refund an order they don't have... but I had told them I still want my sushi. I had a family waiting for sushi. She asked if she could take my phone to place the order which I was ok with since the sushi bar is right there but she went into the back with it. And not for a short amount of time either. When she was back, she "found" the order and handed me my phone.I was in the waiting area before I decided I didn't like being in the way and getting dirty looks from the hostess. Thirty minutes later, I go in and an angry looking hostess hands over the bags.I get home and I find out that they gave a pathetic tray, two of Pink Lady even though I ordered one and missing one Rock n Roll. Then I found hair in my salad.I've been eating here for years and if not this one, one of their other chains. Needless to say, never again.
David was such an awesome chef! We had so much fun. The food was great and he was very entertaining. 10/10 recommend!
Fun atmosphere and good food! We had hibachi and sushi and it was tasty. Only 4 stars though, it wasn't that busy when we were there, but the service was spotty...I had to order my drink twice and the in-meal service was pretty average.
Wow. Great chef. If your water is half empty, refilled immediately without interruption to ask. Love it. I really like the hibachi Noodles. With steamed rice on the side. I get the chicken and shrimp. Huge shrimp and very generous portions. Got a sample of the steak which was fine. The table of 3 for hibachi dinner was $120 including tip. Really a nice lunch. We went at opening and when we left it was packed. Cheers!
I got the Sushi for 2 to take home to my hubby and it was delicious!! I definitely made some brownie points!
What a great experience tonight, we celebrated my son's birthday and he had never been to hibachi (I am failing as a father I know, lol) and we came to Mt. Fuji. We were fortunate to get Jason as our hibachi master, and oh boy was he amazing. The food was the best I have had at any hibachi I have been to, which I have been to quite a few across the country, including Seattle and San Francisco. Jason was super entertaining and made my son's birthday that more special and absolutely knows his trade. I will be back for sure, thanks Mt. Fuji staff for a great night
Antonio is AMAZING! We laughed historically for pretty much the entire time! The kids were a little scared at first but he made them feel right at ease. They went from standing back, hiding behind us, to catching broccoli and lemonade in their mouths. Highly recommend. And the sushi is delicious!
Consistently great service and delicious food. The meals are always well played and the staff is polite. You won’t find anything of this caliber for this price. It’s great!
