So I stopped in late at night 8:30 p.m. because I was looking for something to eatand didn't want to keep some place open past their closing time. I was welcomed with open arms and offered chips and salsa, first thing I noticed that the chips are warm and the salsa is slightly spicy, very nice. I ordered a margarita a glass of water and a large combination plate. Simple menu concept small, one item, medium, two items, and large three items. No substitution penalties just pick your items off the extensive list, I like it. I had a crispy chile relleno a cheese enchilada and a tamale. The tamale was made with true corn masa not the powdered stuff and stuffed full of meat very nicely done, also thoroughly enjoyed the enchilada and the relleno. All served on a huge plate of beans and rice. The margarita is very tasty not too sweet. But the best part yet to come. Remember it's 8:30 at night, I have my dog in the truck they offered to open the patio for me so my dog sat with me. Amazing accommodations I will be back. Next time I will be trying something from the extensive seafood section of the menu. PS, Buzz, my poodle was also raving about my leftovers.
La Casita has been one of our favorite local places to eat for many years. Good quality , nice atmosphere, staff great.
Wow- everything is so tasty. Me, my husband and two children ate here for lunch. We are new to the area and were really craving some Mexican food so we stopped in. I am SO glad we did. The service surpassed amazing and the food was flavorful, hot, and prepared quickly. My bottled beer was served with an ice chilled mug and fresh lime. The seasonings were used to perfection and nothing was bland. My children had tacos and they loved the ground beef and shredded chicken. I grew up in Colorado and this is BY FAR the best service and Mexican food I have ever had. I would rate 10 stars if I could! We will be returning :) everyone was also very friendly and attentive!! Thank you all!
Hands down the best Mexican Food around! Consistency is key and they continue to consistently deliver AMAZING food, service with a great atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and very attentive, I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Hands down my favorite Mexican food in Douglas county. The menu is pretty big, the food is incredible, (they have frozen banana margaritas) the drinks are delicious, the price is impressive.Downfall, parking. It sucks.
Came in with a friend and the server immediately misgendered us but I can forgive that. Having been a server myself, however, I know not to use gendered terms with tables anymore. Asked about the Fiesta Plate and it was described as having scallops, crab, shrimp, and chicken in a cream sauce. I was between that and the shrimp quesadilla. Considering there was only a $1 difference I went with the Fiesta Plate. The taste of the sauce was good but I scoured the entire plate and found chicken was the only protein anywhere in the dish. I asked my server if I could have the shrimp quesadilla instead since there was no seafood on my plate and it was described as a mostly seafood dish. He looked at me as if he was upset. He said "So, you want a box for this and to get the shrimp quesadilla?" I said, "No thank you. This dish was advertised as having mostly seafood and there's no seafood in this dish so I'd like the Shrimp Quesadilla instead." He acted pretty flustered and upset at this but took the dish and brought out the quesadilla. The quesadilla was great. At the end of the meal we asked for separate checks. The server was pleasant after bringing me the quesadilla. When I looked at my check I was charged for both entrées and brought it to my servers attention. I thought he must have forgotten to ask the manager to take it off but he insisted that I ordered both dishes and was therefore charged for both and he became visibly upset at me again. I had to insist that I wasn't going to pay for a meal advertised to be a seafood dish that had no seafood and also I took exactly two bites from the meal before asking for a new dish. Either management thought this was acceptable or the server never went to management about it and he tried charging me for a meal that was made incorrectly and wasn't eaten. Either way this is a terrible way to treat a customer. Again, I would know, I was a server for 15 years up until last year. Definitely will not be coming back here and wouldn't recommend you waste your money at this establishment.
This is my favorite small Mexican place in Parker, in part because it’s fairly quiet. The menu is very comprehensive. I love the salads. The service is very good, also.
It's been amazing and the service had always been great...the food though wasn't that great the past few times :/ maybe an off night but overall a pretty good time
I've been a regular here for god knows how long and always have an incredible experience. The servers are so kind and attentive and greet me every time. The food is consistently delicious and I've rarely had any problems with my order. The restaurant is clean, the decorations are fun, and the music is never too loud. It's very kid friendly as well, just perfect for families. I would highly recommend La Casita for anyone looking for good food in a fun, colorful atmosphere.
