I usually come here often. The chefs are usually super nice and I enjoy talking with them at the sushi bar area while I dine. I will never come back to this establishment. I always go in by myself and tip very well but I was just refused service because they were not taking any new customers that night. Mind you it was 7 o’clock and they close at 9:30. Honestly it sucks they treated me like this. I guess I will wait for this sushi joint to change owners again before I ever go back.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. The sushi is amazing an strongly suggest the “Sexy Sushi Roll”, it’s light and refreshing!

Sushi Jooa is by far the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. My love for sushi is all because of this place! The employees are so wonderful, kind, and extremely accommodating. I once brought a friend that was gluten free and our waiter knew every gluten-free roll on the money that she could have. The food is always delicious no matter what you order and the service will always be amazing! I could go on and on about this place, but to sum it all up I recommend anybody and everyone here!

This is my go to for sushi. Servers are always polite the sushi chefs are amazing. Price is not unreasonable. And the house salad dressing is so good I usually order a second salad for dessert. The kids plates are adorable.

Visiting from Louisiana to see some friends and family. McCall was our server and she was absolutely incredible. Loved her. Incredibly friendly, super attentive even though it was busy and hysterical! 10/10 server.Great food, Beautiful presentation. Great experience! Thanks!

We ordered thinking it was going to be the same as other sushi places we have been to. Big mistake! Their portions were huge and everything was great. Except the Katsu sauce, very salty. The staff was attentive and nice. We will definitely be back!

I eat here once a week. It’s fresh and DELICIOUS? I LOVE THE JASMINE TEA AND ROCKY MOUNTAIN ROLL.

Ordered the Baby Lobster Roll and Samurai Fiesta Roll - neither was wrapped very well. (Think chop sticks into mashed potatoes)Also ordered a couple ramen dishes including the spicy seafood ramen. All their pasta Ramen is cooked and served separately / bland. The seafood soup mixture was flavorful and included 1 sautéed calamari, 2 small shrimp tails, 2 clams, and an oyster. Was impressed with the diversity, but kinda annoying to have to shell everything in a simple ramen dish. Wished there would have been more shrimp (preferably shelled). The amount of soup broth for a single serving was enough for 2-3 servings, which was difficult to transfer to the bowl/plate. Tried “fishing” most of the seafood/broth into a bowl, but ended up having to strain the 2nd half of the soup to finally get to the food. $80 later for a meal for two - doesn’t seem sensible to go back after both sushi and ramen were both amiss.

Every single time we go here it's fresh and amazing. Very picky about sushi after living in San Diego for a long time but this place gets it every time. The hot dishes are wonderful as well. The chef/ owner knows how to do it right! Servers are great and friendly. 10/10 every time
