It took them 15-25 minutes to get me my food. Basic stuff. 2 beef tacos. A side of chili & a side of tortillas. They realize they forgot to charge me the .56 cents for the side of tortilla. I tell them I gave them a 1$ tip so they can use that. Another 5-10 minutes pass & the 'manager' (child) is at the window asking for the .56 cents so I tell her the same thing. She then wants to know if I got my change for that & I tell her that the 1$ was their tip & that they can keep the change... she was asking as some measure regarding the .56 cent payment. First, don't hire people who don't understand money...Next, I finally get my food. I go to eat & find that my tacos are not only medium rare (I won't eat MR) , but one of them is only 1/4 full... like more than 1/2 of the shell is totally empty... I couldn't eat them MR anyways, but seriously...
Wow, this location is staffed with wonderful employees all around and made our lunch experience absolutely fantastic. The food is of high quality, the presentation goes above and beyond, and the service somehow tops it all. Definitely a safe bet to grab a bite here any time of day - you won’t regret it! Especially with their unbeatable prices!
I used to love eating here but quality of food had gone down as well you can always tell when there is a different cook. I placed an online order the other day which indicated my order would be ready in 10 minutes... after waiting in my got car for almost 20 minutes I had to leave without my order THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR! I called and was told that they were very busy catering for a wedding, so apparently my order didn't matter :( the manger offered to refund the entire order amount and days later that has not happened. Well never go back and WILL NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!! I'll drive to Longmont instead.
Our waitress was friendly. The food was pretty good. My aunt’s and my food came pretty fast, but they were slow with my daughter’s cheese quesadilla. We got our foods first before my daughter. That was the only thing I disliked, but my overall experience was good.
The breakfast burritos here are famous for being inexpensive and tasty. That was our experience as well. Our waitress was excellent and treated us friendly and with a smile. One burrito was filling enough for me.
Moved from Colorado 6 yrs ago. Santiago's is the place I missed the most. Great to see the Loveland store in New stand alone building. It was roomy and very clean. Mary, our server was outstanding. Very polite, nice, and helpful. My buddy had never been and has listened to me brag about the food for years. Don't think he was disappointed. I had a chicken, rice and beans burrito with 1/2 and 1/2. So good. Had me buzzing for a half hour. All the staff was great. Will be back when I get back to Colorado. Miss this place. Thanks.
Now, I really like Santiago's, there's one also in Johnstown where go quite a bit.A friend invited me to this one, and frankly, I'm really glad he did.Now it can't be said that I'm a fan of super spicy food. As a matter of fact my kids say that the upper end of my spice tolerance is "sour cream"...(so insulting). However, they do food right here, serving up whatever level of 'hot' you can handle. But there's another kind of spice that I am a great indulger in, and that is the verbal banter, the tease that we all need in order to keep ourselves humble. And, oh, believe you me, you even give a hint at starting, you may not be able to keep up.It's all done with smiles, so enjoy, enjoy.I know that I did!!
I tried Santiago's for the first time in the Loveland location. BIG mistake. I went in to order a couple breakfast burritos and was told that they only do one thats right one meat a day. So if you like bacon and its sausage day your out. I asked the front counter person if there is a rotating schedule and she said no and its anyone's guess when you come in. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos and one of them with no potato. It took them over 15 min to get me my order. Their reasoning was they had to cook the bacon and do the burrito from scratch. That tells that they don't do their food made to serve but prep it that morning and leave the burritos under lamps. I would NOT recommend this place if you want quality food and service. I can get a rolled up breakfast burrito from any gas station for less and it tastes better!
We love Santiago's. Not just the food but great service.Everyone is so friendly and we love they contribute to charities. Our favorite is the Indian Taco. Delish!!
Two enthusiastic thumbs up from me and my wife, and instantly vaulted into our top 3 Mexican food restaurants in Loveland (and BTW that's not saying it's 3rd). Prices were low enough to make us wonder if the food would be low quality, but the opposite was true. The flavor of the salsa wasn't what got us raving, but the heat level was perfect. I had chicken fajitas and my wife had chicken enchiladas; both of us agreed there's a certain freshness to the food that we don't find anywhere else. I don't know how our server could have done a better job; from friendliness to keeping our drinks filled, she was amazing. Very much looking forward to our next visit.
