The food was good but it was the worst service I have ever had. I think the waiter was new but even if he was he should not have been left alone. He kept forgetting our drink order and had to ask 3 times. Our appetizers never came. Had to look for him to order. It took over an hour and a half to get food so I am pretty sure our order did not get placed after we gave it. Then when the check came there were over $40 worth of items on it that we didn’t order. It took him 3 tries to get the ticket right. I still tipped $20 on a $100 ticket but the service was not worth $2. It was my first time here and I loved the food so I will try again in the future. But if the service is as bad next time then I will not be back.
My fiance and I went here for our anniversary a few years ago and had such a great experience. We decided to go back to celebrate my first mother's day and his birthday, and were so disappointed. The menu is so small and honestly not even that appealing. Had we not had our 8 week old son with us and needed to eat and get home for bedtime we would have had the drink we already ordered and gone elsewhere. My fiance got the steak, for $28, and ordered it rare. It was brought out on a hotplate, usually used for fajitas, still piping hot and cooking! It was overcooked and unevenly cooked. Even without that it was definitely not a $28 steak. My cocktail was overpriced and so small it was gone in 3 drinks. We mentioned the menu size and changes to our waitress who said it's been recently bought out. We definitely will not be back, very disappointing.
Quiet, nice, and very friendly. Their menu as some good mixed items. I loved there duck wings and Buffalo sliders .???????????????
Two stars for the beer ONLY.I'm not mad, just extremely disappointed. I loved Rock Bottom when I used to live in NoCo. We were back in town and I was so excited to go and reminisce over all the memories celebrated there and was salivating for the mac and cheese. However, change is not always for the better. Menu was slashed to a bare minimum, trying to appear more upscale, and all of our favorite items were gone. Portion sizes are smaller and the cost up.I don't know what changed, or why, but it's no longer the brewpub I remember and loved. Beer is still decent so if you want to pop in for a growler or something, go for it. Just don't stay for the food as I no longer recommend eating here.
Okay! Thank you to Brian from rock bottom. We went to Texas road house and had a horrible experience. After sitting there for over an hour with no food and empty drinks, we walked out. We decided for our family dinner we would try rock bottom out. Brian was our server and quick, friendly, funny and attentive. I’ll be back just to see him and get a watermelon mule. Give that man a raise! One of the best servers I’ve had in northern Colorado!
Very much enjoyed Rock Bottom. Have been before but don't remember the occasion. This time it was quite memorable. From the server to the the meal and beverage the total package was an excellent experience.Side note for all the nerds out there, presently there is a beer "Vader Beer" that has the Sith Code as it's description at Rock Bottom. Logically, I had to order it. Quite good that. I recommend.Oh yeah. Get the carrot cake. Attached is a tease of what to expect with it.
I ordered a very expensive rib eye steak that wasn't a rib eye when it came out. They replaced it which took 20 min and my partner was pretty much done eating. The second steak wasn't a very good cut of meat at all. They don't have baked potatoes which was a big disappointment. I tried the waffle fries which I didn't enjoy. With the second steak I tried the mashed potatoes. I don't understand how you can serve mashed potatoes with no brown gravy. And the only gravy they have is country gravy. The waiter and manager knew I didn't enjoy my meal. The manager only came over after I sent the steak back but didn't come back and check on the second steak. The waiter saw I didn't touch the mashed potatoes. They don't have a good selection of vegetables. They don't season the steak before cooking it. I think they rely on a garlic jalapeno butter which I dislike jalapenos and they shouldn't be on a steak. Over all it was a horrible dining experience. They didn't take any money off my meal. Don't waste your money here. And no bread to go with your meal. Very very expensive and disappointing. $28 for a poorly cut and bad quality steak.
Phillie was good. Waffle fries were really salty here and there but overall good. We were a large table and only had 1 waiter that was always busy somewhere else and everyone ran out of drinks multiple times. Best part, bar tenders were on point. Beer was good and Mixed Drinks were amazing.
The food here was not bad at all.I enjoyed the side of salad which had cranberries, and other stuff in it, and I also enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes.I would definitely like to make a stop there again & the steak was really good too.
This place used to be good. Good drinks. Food. The menu has changed twice and the food has gotten worse. 28 dollar steak tasted like a 8 dollar steak. Bland and quality of meat wasn't good for a ribeye. Same with the Philly cheese steak. Meat was chewy and again bland. Spaghetti was ehh. Disapointed that this place has gone down hill. The menu options aren't as good as they were. Serving sizes to top it off has shrunk.
