I will start by saying the two stars was ONLY because our waiter was VERY nice, polite, prompt, and showed concern for our unacceptable experience.Otherwise, if I could I'd give negative stars! Brought my friend here for her birthday. We haven't been to Pinocchio's before, so thought it would be a good treat for her special day. Well, I was mistaken. We should have turned around and ran the second we got close to the building, and were instantly hit the smell of raw sewage! Just like other reviews said, it was intense. When we got to our table, it smelled even worse and kept becoming more intense as we walked through the restaurant. By the time we were seated, the place now had the added smell of dead lake fish. Our table was smudgy with greasy fingerprints on the white napkin they had laid out over it like a tablecloth, my chair had sauce encrusted on the back, and there were crumbs everywhere. We were handed menus, also smudged up and greasy with fingerprints. Opened them up, and mine had been scribbled all over inside with crayons.Anyway, we order decide to keep giving it a chance, and figure whatever septic issue they were having, might clear itself up, and we'd acclimate to the smell. The food has good reviews, so I figured that was the important part.We order, and quickly did get our food, but it was nearly inedible! The appearance alone was unappetizing. I got the veal marsala and it was a meshed together plate of watery, thrown together slop! The noodles were soggy, and dripping, the veggies looked like they came out of a frozen Birdseye package, the meat was indescribably terrible and I could barely chew it. It looked like something that had been reheated several times over in a microwave, and the sauce was just a weird runny brownish-clear fluid with some mushrooms thrown in.My friend couldn't eat her pasta either, and said it was mostly sauce, with meatballs that also tasted like they were warmed up in the microwave after being frozen leftovers. The artichoke dip, was .....acceptable. The teas, were okay.We ended up leaving, after just a few forced bites of foods, and our server gave us a discount and apologized, but really, we shouldn't have been charged for any of it, at all.
If I could leave 10 stars, I would! The food was beyond amazing and the service was exceptional. My co-worker and I had the Appetizer Pie which was really really good. And everything else from there only got better. The food tasted homemade and the portions were more than enough. The sauce on my Homemade Manicotti was extremely fresh and the mushroom medley was an excellent addition.Glen, our server, AMAZING and super friendly and hats off to the chef, Ray.Great food. Great service.
smells of sewage throughout the place.
The owners and staff are absolutely amazing! Very friendly and cozy atmosphere! I love the bar section. It’s more secluded. The homemade pumpkin bread, homemade bread sticks, bourbon pie… are all to die for! So tasty! Breakfasts are surprisingly fabulous! Large portions and food tastes fresh and fabulous! Highly recommended!
My friend and I went here and were shocked at the service and warmth of the food. I started the evening by asking if they had sweet tea and she said they had it. Upon a request for a refill, the waitress said she put four sugars in it and gave me an unsweet tea. Perhaps the next disappointment was when we never got the soup that was ordered and only got the salad after requesting it once the meal came out. More disappointment followed when we got our meals and they were lukewarm. I ordered the chicken and asparagus spaghetti in garlic cream. However, it turned out to be a chicken noodle soup. It was good, but again not what I assumed to be ordering.
This place is delicious! Huge portions. The Caesar salad was a $2 upgrade, but worth it. I had the carbonara, with shrimp. They barely survived the pandemic. I'm happy to support them and send business their way.
Felt like some Italian today so thought we would try Pinocchio's again. (It's been a while). The restaurant was almost completely empty for noon on a Sunday that was a little weird. The service was friendly if a little slow - not a huge deal. I thought the food was good so maybe all the bad reviews the last few months got to them enough that they fixed some things.
We ordered food online for our office lunch. IT WAS TERRIBLE!! They forgot an appetizer and our drinks. When I called them to say they had forgotten some things, the man I spoke with was VERY rude. He didn’t offer a refund for those items until I asked if he was going to refund them. I had to ask if he knew which order it was and he rudely replied “I know what order it is.” This is the second time I have eaten there food. The first time was in the restaurant and it was a terrible experience. We waited forever for someone to take our order, to get our food, to fill our drinks and to pay. I know times are tough trying to find people that want to work and I’m all about supporting local business but when I am treated like that and the food is horrible forget it!! Do not eat here!! Not worth the money!!
We had dinner at Pinocchio's Loveland on Sunday and had an excellent meal and wine. The service was excellent and very friendly. They serve traditional Italian food that is what they claim. We will be making this our regular restaurant for Italian food. We can't wait to try the breakfast.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was the first and last time my family and I will eat at Pinocchio's in Loveland. If they were honest about their advertising it would be tagged inedible instead of incredible Italian. We love Italian food and this is NOT it. There were no napkins at the table and during the course of our meal. The server was stressed to no fault of his own since the owner fired most of the staff 2 hours beforehand. We tried to order the caprese salad, not available. We ordered the caesar salad, the server came back and said no caesar dressing. We ordered water with lemon and we were told there was only one lemon left for the night so that's why it was paper thin. We were also told there were no clams. The food was low quality and tasteless. In fact, my daughter ordered the angel hair pasta with shrimp and it was floating in water. The breadsticks if you can call them that were also tasteless. We coined them "dough worms." It was so bad even the ginger ale was flat and tasteless. The meal was outrageously priced considering the food was low quality and tasteless. If you want great Italian food at a reasonable price this is NOT the place. Pinocchio's...inedible Italian!UPDATE: The food literally made me sick. It was as bad coming out as it was going in.
