The pizza was great the first time I came, I had to come back again even though it took forever to be seated and served the first time however the second experience was even worse. Our wine glasses had lip prints, we were waiting 15 minutes to place an order, our food took forever to get back to us, my order was wrong when I finally got it, and for the whole hour and a half I was there we probably saw the waitress only three times. At one point I even had to get up and speak to someone because we were waiting so long in between getting drinks and our food. I've looked through these multiple reviews and found that a lot of us had the same common issue with the wait staff which is such a shame because typically the food is really good. I feel like if the owner just hired a new manager and possibly one other wait staff the whole experience would completely and utterly change at this restaurant.

My husband and I went to Origins for the first time this past Thursday. I much prefer leaving compliments to writing criticisms about a place we've been, but we feel there were issues here that needed to be mentioned..We ordered the shrimp as an appetizer, which was spicy and well made. I ordered the French dip sandwich, which was also very good. However, the gyro that my husband ordered was nothing like he had ever eaten before. Only 25% of a very large pita pouch was filled with meat and the other 75% was filled with salad greens. Not a drop of tzatziki sauce in sight. My husband filled his plate with salad greens before he could even see where the meat was. We totally get that businesses are trying to recover all their lost revenue because of COVID, but please don't be chintzy with the quantity of ingredients you use for your menu selections. Finally, we like the industrial look of open ceilings, but you have to clean up there periodically. The duct work and electric conduit is filthy and needs a good dusting. I can't imagine seeing dust falling onto my food! You don't know about a place until you try it, right?

Cozy venue. Great pizza w unique flavors and great recommendations from staff. The bread basket was definitely not a hit or worth the ? - just, ok. There was a large round of bread, torn in half, very charred & served with a dish of olive oil and a "glop" of unappetizing looking minced garlic. Don't get me wrong - I love garlic - the presentation was absolutely less than apatizing and had little flavor. Otherwise, we enjoyed the pizza!

After reading some of the reviews, my fiancé and I decided to take a gamble and go here since we wanted good food and had some time on our hands. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday, and as far as we could tell there were only two waitresses. Water was served to us immediately and the waitress came back around after a couple minutes and asked if we wanted any drinks or appetizers. The drinks came fast, but the appetizer took a while to cook up. I have no problem with my food being hot and fresh, but the problem I did have was that the waitress didn't come back around until our appetizer was done, which was about 15 minutes (it seemed like a very long time, but I was hungry and growing impatient to order my pizza, so it could have been shorter or it could have been longer, I wasn't looking at the time). We got our appetizer which was very tasty and placed our order. By the time we had finished the appetizer our pizza was ready. It could have cooked a little bit longer, but otherwise it was a tasty pizza, and the beet and Caesar salad were delicious.Overall the food is really good and so are the drinks, but make sure you have some time if you decide to come here. It's worth it. They have a bar area, so even if you only wanted drinks you could post up at the bar and ignore the delicious scents of pizza wafting by you. We will definitely be visiting here again when we have some time to kill.

Such a lovely place for a special occasion! The pizza is extraordinary, and the wine (and other adult beverage) selection is great and varied. If you're looking for the right appetizer, try the roasted pepper hummus plate...SO GOOD!!

My friend and I just stopped here because we wanted a little something. We ordered a beet salad, awful and a Charcuterie board, marginal. The salad was wilted and over dressed and seemed stale. The board was okay but grapes OLD and soggy. To much bread and it should-be toasted and the cheese was nothing to write home about. I brought 2 pizzas home because we all know Brick oven is “the best”, nope. Hardly any ingredients on the pizza. It’s like they cute back to save. I would not go back. Wine, just okay.

The food is really good, I had the salmon and the traditional bruschetta, the brussle sprouts(fabulous) and the cauliflower soup, all of which I would order again. The wine was lovely too...however, the service is not great. There is not an abundance of a friendly atmosphere nor interaction from the staff. I will return, as the food really is that good, and hope for friendly staff.

This would have been my first time in. My mom and I go out to dinner regularly and decided to try something new. We walked in and waited in an almost empty restaurant for about 5 minutes before the host even acknowledged us. She was very rude not even looking at us. She said because we didn't have a reservation we couldn't be sat. Apparently reservations are required for Friday nights. I looked on the website before we even went in and on Facebook. No where did it say reservations were required! It was a last minute decision to go there that's why I checked first. If these are your policies then I suggest update your website.

Origins has survived the COVID disaster, and THRIVES!!! My wife and I attended the Valentines Day dinner event, and it was a great night, and as usual Jeff was present to make sure the customers feel special. Origins is a great Italian restaurant, and the menu is varied and everything is high quality and tasty (esp the bolognese dishes, the beet salad, and Michelangelo Pizza). The atmosphere (and the Vanilla Margueritas) is what keeps bringing us back to Origins, and we are anxiously awaiting warmer weather so we can dine outside with live music!! Highly recommended for anyone, especially when attending any of the many summer events in Downtown Loveland.

Very traditional and very good Neapolitan-style pizza. Great for Italian purists, but you need not look for an Americanized "supreme" kitchen-sink pizza with everything -- you won't find in on their menu. I loved the "Honey Love" pizza that we chose, but most of the others sounded very similar and I would have wished for a bit more variety and originality in the other choices. The wine selection was very good, as you'd expect. But the service left a bit to be desired. it took 10-15 minutes for us to even be acknowledged by wait staff after we were seated (apparently due to a miscommunication), and after that service was barely acceptable but not prompt. It took a while to get someone to take our drink order, then a longer while before our food order was taken. Kudos to the the kitchen staff -- we got our pizza very quickly -- but I would have ordered a second glass of wine if our waitress had checked after the pizza was delivered. But by the time she came the pizza was gone and it was too late, so I skipped it and they lost that additional sale due to slow service. And I was charged incorrectly for the wine (a more expensive glass than I ordered was listed on the ticket). The whole experience was OK (we'd go back) but not exceptional (it'll be a while), so I'd call it a solid but only OK choice.
