Excellent find. We came for a Sunday breakfast. Lucky to get there at 9:30, just ahead of the well-deserved rush. We were told our wait would be 20 minutes; we were seated in 10.Had a breakfast burrito and one of the Papa's. Both delicious. Portions are enormous, so next time my wife and I will split one order and maybe try a side of the pancakes. Prices very reasonable, especially given we took half our food home.Located in a nice little part of downtown Loveland. We'll definitely be back. With friends!
Great value, delicious food, super friendly staff. I had the Big Pig and was not disappointed.
My husband, daughter and I came in for brunch. I wasn't too happy about the wait for a spot. And the seating is way too close proximity for my comfort. Especially still coming out of a viral pandemic. The table next to me sat a family with 2 young boys & and infant. I couldn't get out of their fast enough. The food, I think, was good... I wish I'd been able to actually enjoy the food. The thing about a pleasant restaurant experience is the enjoyment of ALL the senses. Sight, sounds, taste, touch, smell. If the surroundings & sounds are off, the rest really gets over-shadowed.
We were looking for some good breakfast and wow this place was way more than we expected! The food was excellent Tex Amex style. We have traveled all over from Colorado Springs to Denver to Loveland and this was the best food by far! Loved the green Chile spice! Super affordable and huge portions. We would recommend to anyone and will be back!
Visited from out of state. Absolutely fantastic food. Ate here three times in my nine days in Loveland! They took such good care of my fellow veterans and first responders!
Just passing through, but totally worth stopping for. The portion servings are large, which I enjoyed; everyone else had to go boxes. They allowed substitutions and cooked to personal preference. The bacon is absolutely amazing, my Omelet was one of the best I've had worldwide, and even the hashbrowns are memorable. The service was amazing!!! Friendly, courteous, and checked on us consistently.
Definitely local favorite. Expect a waiting you're late in morning. Huge portions and service with a smile. I found my burrito lacking a lot of flavor and had to douse it with hot sauce. Would recommend this place though.
The best cup of coffee! I drank mine black and it was still so smooth and delicious!
Was told by multiple people to try this place for breakfast. Can’t say it lived up to the hype I’ve heard about.Ordered sweet combo with blueberry pancakes and they were nothing but mush on the inside, seemed like they were event cooked all the way through. If you like raw pancake batter go for it, wasn’t for me at all.Ordered the funnel bacon as I thought it would be interesting and it was just a sponge of oil, nothing but mush just like the pancakes.Wait for the food was quite long, would have been fine if the food came out top quality but instead it was a let down.
Modern & unique. I was surprised by their large portions! Each meal is easily shareable! We enjoyed sitting at the bar & watching the staff cook our breakfast burritos. Doug’s is truly unique because I don’t know of any other brunch place where you get watch your meal be cooked. The burrito was good, but the green chilly had too much heat. I am used to green chilly with no spice, but If you’re a fan of spice you will be satisfied. Big shout out to the cooks!
