I just had my first visit over at Big City Burrito in Loveland. I wanted to shout out Josiah. I have never met anyone so passionate about food in my life and particularly your company. That young man had me sold before I even took a bite. I told him that it was my first visit and he was absolutely elated about it and did his best to make me excited about it too. He told me how he has been eating there since he was six and how working there was a natural transition. The enthusiasm was contagious and I really appreciated him taking the time to show me how everything works. The food was great and will absolutely be back. Thanks guys!
The woman there was so sweet. There was a line and still was calm and collected and moved quickly. She still took the time to connect with us. Great food as well!
Do not go here. This place is an absolute joke and the sooner it fails, the better. I’ve had too many disappointing experiences with the food and service to go into it all, but, if I’m being generous, the success rate is around 20%. Most recently, was told by the doordasher that they needed 25 minutes to cook rice, and asked if I would be fine with extra potatoes instead. I said sure because I didn’t want to make him wait that long for one order. Burrito arrives and it not only has rock hard uncooked rice on it, but the potatoes are mushy and cold as well. No joke, this is legit at least the sixth time I’ve gotten a trash product from them. The number of times I’ve given them another chance is personally embarrassing, and my only hope is that this review is the catalyst for my permanent discontinued support.
The food was good, well at least my boyfriend’s was. I wanted to try their quesadilla with everything in it and I never once asked for just cheese… and that’s all I got. It’s was nice of the man to only charge us for a kids quesadilla, but I was disappointed with the assumption. On top of that I doordash and I understand the importance of the hot bag however both times that I have gotten orders for this restaurant I had other orders as well, which made it impossible to fit there food into my delivery bag. The only reason why I just did take the other food out of the bag and put theirs in instead is for the simple fact of the food before was for a house father away. On top of that the first time I was dashing with the help of my boyfriend and they gave him the order with hesitation, but he still got the order. When it was just me he refused. I have never been rude to the same man who “helps” me, yet there is a problem. I will NEVER go back.
Utterly terrible. If you enjoy the Fort Collins location, stay away from this one. You will be severely disappointed. Mushy and gross.
The poor workers really want you to know that they’re not paid very well and that this place is an absolute dive. They are good communicators. The food, jejune; the service, supercilious. This place will be gone soon.
I wish I would stop making the mistake of going here. I am consistently disappointed with the food, but the occasional "lottery win" keeps suckering my hope.Snails cross interstate highways faster than burritos get made. Food quality (and temperature!) is inconsistent. For example, at my most recent (and hopefully last) visit, the potatoes were refrigerator-cold.For a restaurant famous for their outstanding Potato Burritos, it is an insult and an embarrassment to the original Fort Collins store that this disappointment bears the same name.If you want a Big City Burrito, drive to Fort Collins. It'll be worth the extra miles and time. I promise.
So I've actually never eaten at this place but I don't even want to because as a doordash driver I arrived to pick up an order I was very polite asked for the order at the counter and a somewhat older lady like short reddish brown hair anyway she asked me for my bag and here's the thing when you first start out with door dash they allow you to start working right away even before they send you your welcome kit in the mail which includes your bag I tried to explain this to her not in an argumentative way but like I was asking her how do I go about canceling the order and all she did was yell at me wouldn't even let me finish speaking I was just trying to explain what I just stated here that I didn't have a bag because I hadn't received it in the mail yet and she was like it says right on your phone that you need your bag and I was like not when you accept the order no it only gives you the option to accept or decline but before I could get more than a few words out she interrupted me and screamed that she was not goimg to argue with me and I'm like bro who's arguing with you I was simply trying to find out what other people have done in this situation. After reading the reviews I'm not the only one who has been offended by this woman. She seriously needs an attitude check she's going to wind up getting smashed out one of these days I was half tempted to myself I wasn't on parole I would have mopped the floor with this b****
The food was great and the service was wonderful! The burrito lady Jeannie was very professional and caring. She went beyond to make sure that we got everything the way we wanted it. This has to be the friendliest little shop in Loveland. I give them ?????
Went here for breakfast today and it was delicious as always! I would like to commend the young man making the tortillas. The manager (I'm assuming) was pretty passive aggressive towards him and the other young woman in there. She made 3 comments towards the young man about things he'd done wrong and 1 toward the woman. She made sure she was loud enough for everyone to know he messed up. She needs some managerial training on how to talk to her employers in my opinion. I'm commending him for not making a scene about how she was treating him. Additionally, he is the BEST burrito maker! No matter how much stuff was inside the tortillas, he rolled them to perfection! Thank you so much. Can you teach some of the others how you do that? He also really seemed to love what he does as he was quick but efficient and careful not to make unnecessary messes. We were in there Saturday morning, 12 Dec at around 930 am. We are inside the restaurant which was pretty clean but the hot sauce bottles in the lobby really need some attention. I would suggest that the manager go back to training and the young man to keep up that work ethic!
