It was our first time in Yummy and we will be back! It is not just delicious but is also fun to watch being made. The staff were friendly, the presentation beautiful and the ice cream was super tasty!
Good food and menu. I tried the Oreo ice cream and one of the peanut butter shakes, which were very good. I wish they provided options for smaller portions as the ice cream amount is so much. I can eat about half of it and it comes open so you can’t really freeze it unless you take the time to put Saran Wrap over it. The service seemed a bit curt and antisocial but they aren’t mean in any way.
Maintain the hour's of operation you post!!! I have come here and yet again they're closed early. Their hour's of operation posted on their actual website states that Thursday they're open until 9:30pm and on Google states 9:00pm. I got here at 8:25pm. I even called ahead of time to place a phone order and they went so far as to take the phone off the hook when I tried calling a second time. This is not a good way to run a niche market business in a small town. Also I was highly disappointed as I am a regular coming here a few times a week and introducing my friend's and family to this place. Closing whenever you feel like or because you're slow will not get you the following you need and deserve. I have finally chose to post because this has happened countless times and multiple times throughout the same week. I even asked the owner why and what happened to cause such an inconsistency in the hours of operations with no good explanation other then it's slow...then update your hour's and stick to them. It is very unfortunate because this place does make really good ice cream and they bring something new to the dessert market in our town.
This place is really good with one major drawback. They don't have consistent hours. Their website says one thing, Google says another, and their door has no hours posted. It seems they're only open for business when they feel like it because you can go during a time they're supposed to be open, but they're not. It's frustrating because I want to give this place more business, but it's a gamble whether or not they'll be open. Maybe they need to adjust their hours. If they had posted hours and stuck to them, I could respect that even if they weren't open as much.I just would like to know when I can go there to get a delicious ice cream roll, and actually be able to.
The food here is amazing. I love going here in the summer time. I happened to go recently with my g/f around 7:30pm. When I walked in with my g/f, there was one other set of customers (what appeared to be a father with his daughter) waiting for their ice cream. After completing their order, the staff member working told me he would take our order, but it would take about 30 minutes. I was confused and was not provided - though to be fair I also did not ask for - an explanation. As we were leaving, another family of about 3-4 walked in and apparently either placed their order or elected to wait the 35 or so minutes.My gf and I were more than a little disappointed, but we'll definitely be going back! (We wanted to try the rolled ice cream tacos.)
Not bad at all. It's just alot of ice cream in 1 cup, I couldn't finish it.The people working there were very nice, their service impressed me the most.
