Food was just okay not much the hygiene, there were fly roaming around even went inside our water. Went for sechwan chicken but for the food without sechwan. As soon as the fly went in the water we were outta there.
Eat here nearly once a week. Best Chinese food in town
Such good chinese food! The orange chicken was impossible for me to stop eating. It gave me the will to live. I usually hate chinese food but this was a gem. (i am trustworthy bc i’m not from colorado where the reviews are usually based around service, and extremely mediocre food is often rated highly… perplexing. i hope one day you all get to taste actual good food, and go on to yelp if you want to rate a place’s service THANKS)
I should have paid more attention when I rolled up onto this place at peak dinner hour and there wasn't a single soul inside the restaurant. Extremely mediocre Chinese/"Thai" food; I put Thai in quotes because what they try to pass off as pad thai is a joke, just some bland noodles and a bunch of crushed peanuts in a weird sauce. The food is not fresh and much of it tasted like it was premade a day ago and reheated to order. This is not an area known for good Chinese takeout but Spicy House definitely ranks in the bottom of places I've sampled in Longmont.
I just ordered a to go order a couple hours ago. There were no customers .The employees were just sitting around with nothing to do so my meals should have been tasty. The sweet and sour chicken was terrible. The chicken tasted like it had been recooked-I have a good palate and could taste the old oil used and in the cheese wontons. I don't go back. It was that awful and very pricey. And they did not include pineapple in the sweet and sour dish.
Epically bad. A two item delivery order, totaling $17, ordered through the restaurant website. I live a two block walk from the restaurant (2nd/Main). Tipped $5, expected 30 minutes. One hour later, my phone rings, and I'm told to come downstairs to get my food. Now, the entrance to my building can be hard to find, so I go downstairs, and the guy is parked across the street. He's clearly annoyed at having to WALK ACROSS THE STREET to give me my food. I then suggested that he bring it upstairs next time, and he said that he doesn't do that "at this building", and basically told me not to order again. So, I won't. The food was cold anyway, so it's really not worth the effort and humiliation.
Spicy beef chow Mein Was Incredible. Yes chow Mein! Thank you! Just stop and try it!
This experience was not good, there was no description of the food. I asked the waitress what was in the spicy beef, because I wanted spice (hot) and mixed vegetables. She said hot beef and different vegetables. It was beef with pepper sprinkled on it over a bed of bok Choy, I really don’t care for Bok Choy when I told her that she said it was mixed veggies she walked off. The Sesame Chicken my boyfriend ordered was terrible, usually the breading on the chucked is light. This chicken was thrown in a deep fryer, heavy and dense. Terrible ?
Excellent food, but to go orders can be faster than dining in.
Great little place! Food was ready very quickly! The sweet and sour chicken was just what I was looking for. Prices are extremely fair! Lots of food for a good price. Will be back
