I sat outside for approx 30 mins cause there was a sign on the door stating their dining room was closed from 2-4pm. When I walked inside they cared more about the customer in the drive thru as both people worked on that order and barely acknowledged me. After several mins waiting I walked out and decided Little Caesar's Pizza it is.
Having moved here from the Southeast I've never heard of Runza but I am hooked now. The bread is sweet and delicious and the "frings" are everything I could possibly want. I remember hoping for the rogue onion ring in my fries, now I can order the mix on purpose!
Food quality was very good. However, the point of this review is that my girlfriend left her phone there by accident. Staff was courteous and conscientious in holding the phone until we returned, very unexpected and very thankful. Please reward your staff for their service!!
Spectacularly not good. My first order with Runza was the swiss mushroom sandwich, which was dry and flavorless - overpowered by the bread. I tried again with their double bacon cheeseburger with jalapenos, and it tasted artificial / of chemicals. Honestly Wendy's does a better burger. Runza in Longmont is across the street from 5 Guys, who for the same price will make an exceptionally better burger.The only reason this isn't 1 star is because of the onion rings. Not exceptional, but one of the better onion rings from a fast food joint.
Wow, my first time trying this place... the #3 Mushroom & Swiss Runza Sandwich is a BIG HECK YES ? ? ? I ordered the chilli as a side, but was too full to eat it with the Sandwich - so it will be dinner... if it's half as good as the Runza I will be over the ?.
German meat sandwiches here in Longmont! Delicious and satisfying. Does not feel like other fast food. I recommend the original.
This is a pretty good and unique fast food joint. The sandwiches are surprisingly filling and taste great, I especially enjoy the southwestern runza. Prices are great too. I will say though, I drove past this place for like a year without noticing it because it looks like a bank. They should put up some ads on the side building or something, it's so hidden compared to its competitors on Main. Anyway, definitely worth checking out.
I love me some Runza!! The original Runza (cabbage burger) is my favorite. A solid meal that has the best bread!Also, the burgers and crinkle fries are awesome as well.My fiance loves the salads, all good stuff.
Came here because I had heard this place was big in the midwest and that their signature cabbage burger sandwich thing was worth a try. I was pretty disappointed with my food. I really love a good cabbage burger, but this was far from that. Service was good and restaurant was very clean, but no reason to go back for me.
It's good fast food. Hot, tasty, made to order, and enough like cabbage rolls to fill that gap when I have a need for a cabbage roll. They're accurate with my order, and I really like the swiss mushroom sandwich.
