Very friendly staff. Our waiter, Gatlin, was super nice and funny. Food was excellent with some gluten free options. Atmosphere was good with interesting picture and cool lighting.
Food was pretty good and the beer I had was great. The atmosphere reminded me of a small town eatery pub I used to go to. The Reuben sandwich I had was well toasted and balanced in flavors - not a disappointment. Price was $15-20 a plate (there were prime ribs and other steak items in the 30s as well) and $8/11 for most beers.
We were greeted by the bartender who was helpful and nice guiding us verbally to our table on this Wednesday night. We only waited a little while for table service.I had the Reuben sandwich. I liked the way they grilled the bread. It had just enough crunch. The corned beef was good but there wasn't much and in places there wasn't any. There was a lot of sauerkraut that was very good. I couldn't taste the Swiss cheese. I replaced a salad for the fries. The salad was very good although placing it on a hot plate made it warm. The Ranch dressing was good although it was a bit too creamy and not enough spice. My friend had Mike O' Shays burger with fries. The fries seemed like the frozen ones out of a bag. I agreed. The burger was good but just okay coming from the burger connoisseur that he is.Overall it was average. Prices were above Fair. Service was good and the ambiance was nice.
Food was a little bland, but the atmosphere was nice.
Nice Pub atmosphere. Very friendly waitstaff. Potato skins appetizer was good. I had fish and chips which was fresh hot and tasty. My wife had Montreal Steak which she really enjoyed. Only thing I would suggest is to get rid of the carpet in the upper areas.
They have a great seafood soup. The servers are nice and they will help you in any way they can if you eat steak I heard their ribeye was good. I haven't tried it myself I don't eat steak.
So disappointing! I have been coming to O'Shays for around 40 years and it was absolutely fabulous and consistent until recently. I went with the girlfriend and it didn't even seem like the same place anymore! It was dirty and the food was mediocre at best and over the top salty. So sad to say I will never go back.
We always go to sit at the bar and chill. Great atmosphere, great staff and love the bartenders. They also have a really good food menu as well.
I'd like to think I'm somewhat a regular, I love the fish & chips, prime rib, beer selection, and service; Jen is the best. I've had several great experiences with the service and food and this review is a one time rating. I sat at the bar waited a good 28 minutes to tab out from a $15 meal, I asked first and waited 15 minutes before the dude to my right asked, tabbed out, and left. Chowder was lukewarm at best and the service in general wasn't very quick and sociable. The bartender the afternoon of 4/7 wasn't great, perhaps this person was in training.
Admittedly a very busy night. They were understaffed and under prepared. We should have left after it took more than an hour to get our soup. But we were looking forward to their yummy fries. French onion soup was one huge piece of bread, partially rock hard, and then barely any broth or onion pieces. We all got some because it is our favorite, and some of us had no broth beyond what made the bread soggy. Again, should have returned the food but didn't. Fries came out, and they have changed brands / types of fries, so now they are just boring old regular fries instead of the tasty ones they used to have. None of the rest of the food they serve is worthwhile enough to make the effort and pay the price because you can find those same foods at the same quality at lesser prices elsewhere. Probably not going back.
