Absolutely wonderful service! We had my dad stay in the car with our dogs because it was too hot to leave them without AC. Our waitress put in a to go order for him and brought it out the same time as our food. Even offered to go outside to get his order and bring it out to him. Everyone we encountered was personable, friendly, and just down right enjoyable!! The food was at the same standard!!!! Large portions and great taste!
First things I noticed were the cleanliness and the tasteful decor. This is a family owned business and much of the staff are family members. Our server was the granddaughter of the owner. The friendly service was very genuine, they care about their customers, with extra nods to service men and women and first responders; there are permanent signs thanking them for their service throughout the restaurant. So this place had a lot going for it, and the food did not disappoint! The low prices had me dubious, well below a typical Village Inn or Perkins. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and my vegetarian companion chose the cheese omelet. There aren't a lot of menu choices for vegetarians, but he was able to find that, and we didn't expect too much heading into rancher country. The food was yummy and it was straight off the grill and out of the fryers. Hot crispy potatoes! The hash browns tasted homemade, and the country fries are golden crispy nuggets of joy. And neither were over salted. The clientele was a mix of large & small families, duos and I believe there's counter service near the kitchen for truckers eating solo. Everyone was racially diverse, young and old, and it all felt very comfortable. The place was just very traditional Americana. People smiled and a few actually said a quick "hello" as they walked by.We'll definitely try to make it back when we're in the area. Don't fall for all the fast-food drive-thrus, go inside, sit down and get a wonderful, hot, inexpensive meal. I'd definitely bring my family, but I'd also happily stop by alone with their counter.
Such a sweet quaint restaurant. Don’t let the outside fool you, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. We are only in town for a few day’s and are already planning a trip back before our flight.
This little hidden gem!! What can I say if you haven't been you need to good down home country breakfast with great flavors and great portions. Server was an absolute sweetheart too.
Wow! What a gem in our community. I have wanted to visit for 2 years now, but not open for dinner. Finally went for lunch. Busy but quick. Emotes personalities were excellent and Christmas decor fantastic. Even the food was good. Good and cheap usually can't be found in the same restaurant.
As first timers we trusted the overall favorable reviews and we were impressed. The food was plentiful, hot, tasty, well-cooked and presented. Nicole was very pleasant, personable and attentive.I would love to give Maggi's 5 stars EXCEPT we were charged more for our meals than the printed prices on the menus online and on the table. I was charged $9.00 for the $8.00 Sunrise Sampler. My wife was charged $10.00 for the $9.00 Morning Scramble plus another $1.00 for bacon and another $1.50 for green chili neither of which was noted as an upcharge on the menu.Even the higher prices were reasonable these days for what you get but nobody likes to be surprised or feel they're being cheated. I understand the need to raise prices but I don't think it unreasonable to present customers with accurate prices on the menus. We look forward to coming back soon but will ask the server to verify the prices on the menu next time.
Do yourself a favor, if you pick up food check your order before you leave. Some items from my order were missing like my side of pancakes and of course they did not include and syrup for the waffles. The least any establishment can do is check the order prior to releasing it to the customer. It's a privilege to dine out especially in these times so to place an order and have items missing and or not included is very frustrating no matter how slammed you are, mcdonalds does a better job. They told me 40 min because they were busy I live 5 min away and my food was cold, since its the times of covid who wants to risk dining out duh common sense. I didn't know an establishment would rather you dine in than order out but in these times they should be happy they got any business at all. I tried to support this business by ordering out. Last time spending my dime on this establishment, especially since they cannot take accountability for their negligence, their response says it all, they don't care about their customers.
What a hidden gem! Unpretentious place with great food and wonderful, friendly, and fast service. Food is reasonably priced and comes in large portions. Also not overly salty as in so many other breakfast joints. Overall a great place to grab a quick bite and will please everyone in the family.
