I brought my family to the grand opening of this restaurant and that is where we grew to love Laguna. I have had 2 family gatherings catered and also booked a holiday party. They never let us down. The service and food are amazing! We are having another company get together there soon. Thank you, we love the food, atmosphere and service. Please let us know when the food truck is available!

I forgot to take pictures of my food, but the cheese enchiladas were fantastic! The atmosphere in here with spray painted murals on every wall was so beautiful and welcoming. Luis took time to talk to me about the live music they have on Saturdays as well as his plans for the summer. I am excited to come back and bring my kids!! Definitely a hidden gem between the food, atmosphere, & service!

My second favorite place to eat in my 20s was always at the house of the owners of this restaurant. They are amazing cooks! So when I found out they were opening a restaurant, I was so excited that they’d be opening their kitchen to Colorado! This place is a must visit and even if you live in Denver, it’s worth the drive! Also, the owners are amazing people. If I could give this place 8/5 stars, I would!

Let me start by saying the drinks were amazing. Not too strong not too light just right. Molcajete was packed with steak, chicken and large shrimp. Tortillas should be heated on something better than a microwave, they kept falling apart. But over all it was worth the hour drive. Definitely going back! And no pics, we ate and forgot to take some, but we will next time!

The first tip was the young man setting up his guitar was interacting with the patrons in Spanish. The first two songs were in Spanish, before a bilingual version of Sweet Caroline so that the entire audience could raise its glasses during the chorus. The staff all speak to each other in Spanish. 90% of the diners were speaking Spanish. The décor is clean, fun, and brightly-colored. So, Laguna is the real deal. The chips were fresh, thin and tasty. The salsa was full of flavor, but not too hot. The freshly-made guacamole was thick and delicious. The beer was served with a chilled mug, and the second beer brought a fresh chilled mug. The wait staff is very professional and super-nice. This was our second visit. While the extensive menu offers various steak, pork, chicken and seafood dishes, and soups and salads — there is also a breakfast section with omelets, etc. — so far we have only had burritos, tostadas, enchiladas, and tacos. All had rich, deep flavors without Tex-Mex heat. Each was served with very nice rice and the best refried beans we’ve had anywhere. Portions are very generous; we boxed our leftovers. So, we have our new go-to Mexican restaurant.

Incredible!!! Food was great and the service was on point! Hope this location picks up for you as this is surely a hidden gem! Will be back for sure! Thank you for a great meal.

Excellent service and the food was delicious! I had the Chile relleno and the sauce was amazing—not too spicy but definitely had some heat. We also tried the guacamole and could tell it was freshly made. The restaurant itself is beautiful decorated with murals on every wall and has a very lively atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Best legit Mexican I've had in years. Our table got a little bit of everything, salsa, queso, fajitas, tacos, and a combo plate. All of it looked and tasted delicious. The Al Pastor was the best, I was actually surprised at how good it was. Same with the queso, it had jalapeno in it that was the perfect hint of spicy. The best part is the staff though, they were super nice and accommodating, and very attentive. Overall an amazing dining experience.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent and super friendly and the food was very good! We are from Texas and finding a good restaurant in the Longmont area has been challenging and we found it at Laguna Mexican grill! Super cute neighborhood and very cool interior vibe of the restaurant! We will be back MANY TIMES!

Sadly we wanted to love this place. With so many bland mexican restaurants in town, especially on the south end, this was promising. The food is generally good, although could use some heat. The problem is the service is erratic. We have only been there 3 times, and near empty each time, but you either get waited on by 3 different servers, frequently, none of which bring what you request (they must think the other has it covered), or they leave you alone so long you wonder if they closed, especially being practically the only group there.
