Food is good most of the time, but have had some issues and pricing is poor. They have great crust, their sauce is good, and they use an appropriate amount of sauce. Toppings are also good and decently portioned. The drive thru is a nice feature, but it is actually faster to go in.Issues have been: a couple of overcooked pizzas - not burnt black, but dark brown and hard crust, one pizza that was almost half crust and only a small amount of sauce and toppings in the middle, oddly shaped and cut pizzas (lack of attention to detail and likely rushed), and most recently, pricing shown on the app was not the real price (real price was 14% higher).Management have been good about fixing issues, but for the priciest chain pizza in the area, I expect better regular service. 4 stars for taste, 4 stars for customer service, 2 stars for quality and consistency. After their app showed prices it did not actually grant and the same thing happened in the store, I may have had enough hassles here to go back.
I never write reviews but this Blackjack store stepped up big time to help a family in need.A couple weeks ago my neighbors unexpectedly lost a family member in a tragic accident. My wife and I wanted to help but didn’t know how. We knew the family was under a lot of stress and sadness so we thought that at the very least, we could take the stress away of having to think about what to do for dinner. We went to this store and got them a gift card and asked if Blackjack would like to match our gift card amount to help this family. They immediately called the owner who said that they would like to help and doubled the gift card amount. They did not hesitate to help a family in the community and I will always respect them for that. This store became my go to for pizza because of their kind gesture. Big props to them for helping out.
Today we ordered a pizza at 8:00pm from the Firestone, CO location. It was to arrive in 45 mins. At 9:30 we started calling, worried that our pizza hadn’t shown up and they close at 10:00pm. On hold for 20 mins. The pizza never showed up! We had to drive around after 10:00 pm trying to find fast food since by then everything else was closed…SO disappointing and I hope the charge is taken off our card since we paid for the pizza. NOT HAPPY
These folks are top notch, not only did they make the attempt to reach out and let us know they weren’t able to make a pie since they had ran out from the daily prep; they went ahead and made a fresh batch as a result of not being able to reach us. Hey it’s an additional ten minutes of waiting time, but these people show dedication to their work and servicing the customers. Mind you we are with in 30 minutes of closing. Above and beyond.
They always forget something. I paid for a salad and didn’t get it second time in a row this has happened to us. Also they don’t follow directions well. When you try to call to at least get a refund, coupon or something they don’t answer. I get it that it was Friday night. I typically love blackjack but last time I’ll be ordering from this location.
Just picked up two medium pizzas. They’re over cooked. Spoke with manager and he said thin crusts end up crispier ( which is true) but there’s no soft cheese left on top. It’s cardboard. He told me that everything looks like it’s coming out fine. Never again - lesson learned on my end.Oh- and Blackjack - save your canned response to bad reviews. Seriously, will not go back when craving pizza. I’ll go elsewhere. Thanks
Really disappointed again. We ordered two pizzas and had to repeat the order multiple times. We also were put on hold three times during the call. Finally after getting the order, they quoted 40-50 minutes. We waited almost an hour and a half before calling and checking in. They told us it was on the way (We live 4 minutes away). We had to wait another almost 20 minutes. When it arive it was totally cold. The slices are all different sizes and the topping are all in the center. Unbelievably disappointing.
I have ordered a few delivery pizzas from here and they seem to almost always forget the drink, for the delivery fee and the tip plus how expensive they are I would expect better customer service. I called one of the times to have the drink amount credited to my account and I was told they would but they never did. I have to say this is my last time ordering from here.
Unprofessionalism carry out they tell me 15 minutes.Show up 20 minutes later been had to wait another 20 minutes in waiting area. Then they bring one pizza when I order 2.
Single oven so it triggered my gluten sensitivity. Pizza was yummy but I had a reaction.
