Absolutely fabulous! Pastor was my favorite. 12/10 recommend if you want something quick, delicious, and easy! I ate my tacos too fast for a photo :(

Just tried their Carne Asada Tacos. Before I touch base on the taste, I'd like to say that I've been to dozens of Mexican restaurants around town. I come from a Hispanic background and know good Hispanic food. From what I tasted, the food was incredible. Tacos were so flavorful and soft. One of the best places for tacos I have had the experience of trying.Gracias por la experiencia.

Breakfast churizo burrito was awesome. Spicy is as described. Milder version available.

I have stopped twice here, both during operating hours, both time the open sign has been on, but the door was locked and no one was inside. I was very excited to try this place but sadly I don’t think I will ever come back

Stopped in here because I wanted a breakfast burrito and didn't want to go to the chain across the street. The owner(s) were present, they're a mother/son team, and the son (didn't catch his name) was extremely friendly and welcoming. He suggested the chorizo burrito so I ordered the chorizo burrito. It took a few moments for abuela to make it and I was pleasantly surprised at the size. Expecting smaller, this burrito could easily give Chipotle or Qdoba a run for their money. The burrito was good. There was a bit more greasy drippage than I was expecting but that could just be the chorizo. Regardless it was worth the money. They appeared to have a selection of "Mexican" sodas and there is a 7-11 right next door for people who want something else.All-in-all, I can see myself making this place a regular stop.

Tucked beside a 7-eleven is La Cocina de la Abuela, an excellent restaurant for the traveler to stop and go, or sit and experience a window into culture.Where most people might think a breakfast burrito should be beef or chicken, potato cheese and egg, this place offers chorizo, al pastor, and cabeza as options. The burrito, unwieldy and plump strikes at the heart of hunger, leaving one full but wishing they had more room.To see guisados on the menu was not only a surprise, but hopeful for the lone tree area to experience more of this unique cuisine.Chicken in mole sauce and chicharron en salsa Verde were today's specials.I am excited for this place, and will be back soon.

The food is out of this world - the flavor coming from the meat

Yes! Finally! We’ve been searching and searching and finally found the best tacos in Colorado! Gracias Abuela ❤️
