Picked up birthday treats here twice recently. The donuts were excellent! We are hooked. The drive through staff forgot my cream and whipped cream in my coffee. Also, they were out of stock of some of the donuts in my pickup order. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with our orders.
Ordered online, wanting to try their special cinnamon milk donuts. They were out of all of these, the lemon filled, raspberry filled, and the creme filled donuts. Most other times we order at the counter and I think we'll do that from now on, as our order was not ready when we got there. I gave 4 stars because while we were charged extra for the specialty donuts, we used a special promo code and got a dozen glazed donuts for $1 after ordering another dozen donuts first. I wish there website would let you know if the location you order online from was out of a certain donut before placing the order.
Waited in line for about 30 minutes for the Spring mini filled Donuts. They were not fresh and the taste was OK. Adoranle AF though. They had a chocolate cream filled which had good chocolate flavor. The cake batter filled was my favorite because it mostly tasted like frosting, the regular cream filled was fine and the strawberry was my last favorite. Not a fan of strawberry flavored sweets. Wouldn't have been as bad if we didn't have to wait forever. The inside is closed as well for some reason so that didn't help. Still fun though if you want something festive but I'll stick to the original glazed.
It was amazing as Krispy Kreme always is! So happy that they were handing out your free donut when you came in! You can't beat a fresh dough. Coming off that conveyor belt it just melts in your mouth for anybody that's reading this that has never been there I don't care what nobody says you go get a hot fresh glazed donut and your world will be changed!
The donuts are amazing, of course, but they need to work some things out… we waited for 45 MINUTES in the drive through line this morning, when there were only 10-15 cars in front of us. They must be severely understaffed or something, because I can’t imagine what would’ve taken so long. The donuts are great, but I would never go back because of that experience!
Drove up from Colorado Springs to meet with family for a birthday party for my son. He loves donuts and so we usually stop and get a bunch of donuts for the whole family in lieu of a birthday cake. When we arrived at 5:35pm there was a manager(?) cutting off the line saying that they were closing early tonight because she had to “let [her] employees go by six”. The line was about a quarter of the way around the building and it took a few minutes for them to clear it but it seemed odd she would stop it that early, even with closing at six. Google maps said they were open till 8:00 and she said they don’t bother changing their business hours because it “takes two weeks for those changes to be approved” (as a business owner myself I have not found that to be accurate). We tried to kindly explain about my son’s birthday and asked if she would make an exception but she just said “sorry guys, but you can come back in the morning”. It was a real bummer for my son and family and I guess the moral of the story is don’t trust the hours on Google maps and don’t plan accordingly because when Krispy Kreme changes their hours they don’t update Google maps.
Drove up from the Springs because all my husband wanted for his birthday was some fresh Krispy Kreme (like every year) but we were very disappointed. Lobby was closed so all orders had to be through the very slow moving drive thru line. From the parking lot to receiving out food, it took 45 minutes. Could also not even order online because all donuts were marked as unavailable, and only coffee could be ordered. Not to mention the donuts were certainly not fresh - they were stale and a bit cold, even. However, the employees were very kind when we ordered and paid. They were doing their best and I applaud the positivity despite the conditions.I understand staffing difficulties right now, but being closed is certainly a better decision than giving customers this poor of an experience. We will be finding a different donut shop to celebrate at next year.
My boys loved going here and watching donuts be made. My son requested hot Krispy Kreme for his birthday, but when we arrived, the drive through was barricaded, front doors locked, and no signage about when they would open. Sad.
Poor, very poor customer service when you call, the manager Aaron that work there just hangs up on you, I called twice because I wasn't done with my question I had and she hung up twice, then wouldn't take my next call. Make sure you know they don't have the lobby open or curbside pick up if you do an order online, you have to sit in the drive thru line to pick up your order. Also you would think when you order online a few days out for what you want they make it for you, but you will most likely get a call stating we are out of these donuts you ordered and tell you here is what we got. Worst donut shop in Colorado
I just want to give credit to the people working today. They were extremely busy and I thought they handled it very well! Of course the donuts were delicious as always. Great job everyone !
