They've got great wings, tenders, and fried rice
Due to its proximity to the west side of town I really wanted to like this place more than I did and I hope they improve so that I can become a regular. But for now I'll be holding off on my next visit. For the positives, the service was quick and friendly & the chicken was of good quality and was cooked perfectly. My big problem is that the wing flavors fell completely flat for me. We got a half and half order of soy garlic and tangy citrus. There seemed to be plenty of sauce in our basket so I guess they were just lacking any sort of punch or seasoning? I'm not sure exactly what the problem was, but there wasn't much happening for me here flavor-wise.Although they are a much further drive from my house, there are plenty of other spots around town that are making excellent Korean fried chicken and are nailing the flavor game. I hope Wing Wok can improve in this regard and compete with them! I'll definitely be back once they do.
***UPDATE : The food quality has drastically gone down. I used to rant and rave about this place, but now look at the pictures. This is the 2nd or 3rd time in a row its been like this. I thought they were one-offs but after their 3rd time. I guess it’s their new way of business. If I wanted a cold rice and cold cheese burrito with 2 tiny pieces of chicken, I would have gone to the gas station! Has anyone else noticed a huge decline in their quality here?My first post a few months ago : The burrito is a MUST HAVE! Everyone needs to try it! I get mine extra spicy! I’m addicted and will be making this a weekly meal! Not only is the food good, the staff is super friendly especially the owner! Well I believe he is the owner, I am not sure but he is always there making the food, welcoming all the customers and taking time out to talk everyone and thanking them for coming in! What a great environment and great food!
I ordered takeout from this place and it was a bit underwhelming. In terms of wings, there are better places. Wings and fries are overly seasoned and salty. I’m glad I got to try this place but not my first pick
Fried chicken is one of my favorite types of food, so when I saw this restaurant, I had to try it. Wing Wok serves up their chicken with an irresistible sauce that has an zesty amazing flavor. When I ordered the Miracle Burger, the only miracle was that it lasted more than 5 seconds after I took the first bite! It was like a zesty chicken salad on a bun. The meat was so crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside, plus the sauce gave it that extra kick! I also liked the Korean style coleslaw, it had the perfect balance of sweet and vinegar. Good thing this place has a rewards card cause I'm going to rack up a lot of points at this place.
This place is SO GOOD. Stopped in today not knowing a lick about Korean chicken. The owner walked us through everything on the menu and we decided on the soy garlic and the one next to it on the menu (can’t remember the name!) They were nothing short of incredible. I really appreciated them not being overly coated in sauce and the chicken itself felt higher quality than at an American wing joint. Crispness was on point too! Staff was super friendly and welcoming!I see people complaining about the size too. The menu clearly states it uses no antibiotic/hormone chicken from redbird so this means the chicken is normal size. Big chicken wings = artificial fattening. Appreciate this place serving quality product
We love Wing Wok! Everyone is always super nice, the food is amazing and our order is right every time!If you get the fried rice be sure to add the chicken!
Wanted to try a new chicken place and found Wing Wok. Really enjoyed the food. Suggestions about what to try were very helpful. The Korean Chicken Burrito and Chickens Tenders were wonderful. The sauces added a great extra flavor. Highly recommend.
Just ate here for the first time and it was a fantastic experience - and I'm a food critic! The owners were both there and were incredibly friendly and personable. They even greeting some of the Arapahoe students by name when they walked in, while we were seated enjoying our lunch. Tried 4 different things on the menu and all were flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be going back! Thank you for a 5 star dining experience!
Hands down the best chicken in town!! We had the chicken in soy garlic and dry rub buffalo, famous kimchi fries, and Ssam burrito. Every dish was not only wonderfully delicious but innovative. Each bite was a perfect explosion of unique flavors. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
