Staff was extremely rude. trying to order food and One employee, a young girl told her coworker “I’ll let you handle her” made me feel so uncomfortable I ended up leaving.
Rude un-professional staff. Ended up just leaving and going elsewhere in the mall due to how uncomfortable an environment it felt. Definitely need to train staff and manager better. Won’t be back.
The food was ok. The salmon was pretty dry and they forgot my green onions. It was ok but I won't eat here again on my own accord.
Horrible experience, took 30 minutes to get my order and they were completely disorganized. Then when I got home the Thai Bowl was nothing but noodles and a couple of vegetables. No chicken, No shrimp, noodles and peanut sauce that’s it. Last time I was there it was disorganized but at least my order was right. I won’t go back.
Been twice. Both times the service and quality of food was excellent!A few mistakes on our order the first visit but they handled it well and everything was straightened out quickly :)
Delicious food and great atmosphere during our mall experience. Gotta try the steak and ramen build your own bowl with bell peppers jalapenos and spinach with teryaki sauce.
We started a new tradition - Tokyo Joe’s on Pearl Harbor Day!!! I had an excellent large Japanese Noodle Bowl and my wife enjoyed her favorite Nico Salad.My old tradition was kamakazi’s with friends in Boulder. My how times have changed.
Seriously I would recommend teriyaki madness well before this place. I ordered a steak bowl yesterday with vegetables and 2 different sauces over udon noodles. There was just a few pieces of well done steak that had a good flavor and was the tastiest thing on the plate but everything else was way off. Like two little dabs of sauce for the whole bowl so what it ended up being was a few pieces of steak either some toppings that couldn't overcome the overwhelming taste of just cold noodle water from the noodles. The bowl would have a tiny flavor from the toppings/protein then literally just noodle water. It's a much different scenario at what I have to assume is a comparable teriyaki madness, spicy chicken bowl yakisoba style is to die for.
This is not about Tokyo Joe's as a whole, but this particular location. My daughter went in to get us lunch - she ordered our food and one drink to go. When she filled up the cup with the drink, she discovered there were no lids. When she asked for a lid, she was told their shipment had not come in. Since she wouldn't be able to bring the drink home without the possibility of spilling it, she asked to trade the fountain drink out for a can of Dr Pepper and was told they could not do that. Why sell a to-go drink if you don't have lids? She should have been told at the time we don't have lids for you but you can buy a can. As she was dealing with the non accommodating employee, someone came up with a lid that they hold back for delivery services. Problem was solved but the customer service was lacking quite a bit. Additionally, she watched several people who ordered after her get their food quite a bit ahead of her. We will not be going back to this location.
Ordered delivery. It shows up an hour and 10 min later missing all of the sauces. I drove to the store to get the missing sauces. I get home warm up the cold meals to find out there is only small pieces of chicken in my bowl and a few chicken crumbs. Ridiculous.
