Worst birthday dinner ever. Actually, worst meal in years. We came in for a birthday dinner. We don't care for the fuss, so we didn't advertise it as such, just wanted to spend time together over good food and drinks. We got seated next to a family that was loud from the start. We optimistically thought it would be fine. The family one booth from us was a "treat" from the first minute. Ear-curling screaming from their baby, their toddler wandering over to check out our table, the parents not even trying to contain the noise or their kids running up and down the aisle and touching our table. We kept trying to talk over them and enjoy the evening, but the blood curdling screeches for a full hour were very distracting and frustrating.Eventually, we got our food. While we were eating, yet another toddler "checked in" on our table, touching it and everything. The parent was looking over the toddler, yet did nothing to tell their kid to stop touching other tables and their food. At this point, we became frustrated and asked them to tell their kid to stop coming around to touch our table for the fourth or so time. The parent became very offended and said "they're just kids", like the parents have no say over what their kids do. Clearly one of those parents who don't care how their kids inconvenience others, as long as they don't have to parent.Eventually, a manager came over to speak to us, thanking us for our patience and saying that the table next to us was leaving. She seemed nice, and we tried to speak to her. She even admitted she would never allow her own kids to behave the way the other table did and that it was unacceptable. However, she told us that "there had been some swearing", which was ridiculous. The table next to us had screamed and came over to bother us for the past hour, without any acknowledgment. However, apparently us trying to ignore them and enjoy dinner and not pay attention to how "kid-friendly" our language was the real issue? To be clear, there was no swearing at any other person, when we did ask the parent to keep their kid from touching our table, we were curt but polite. I guess we didn't watch our language in our private conversation to make sure no coarse words escaped and either the family or servers were listening and took offense? The manager said something about how they were a "family friendly" restaurant. I was well aware Ted's is not an adults-only place and we have been seated next to families there, and elsewhere, without issue. However, I didn't realize "family friendly" meant that we, as a couple, had to make sure the language in our private conversation was perfectly kid-friendly while the people with kids in the booth over screamed nonstop, spied on us, came over to touch our table, generally disturbed our meal, and pretended kids were something they had no control over. I didn't realize "family friendly" meant the family can do no wrong and every other paying customer has to cater to them.Separate issue - I used the restroom and witnessed one of the staff leaving the bathroom without washing their hands. Absolutely gross. Wasn't looking and wouldn't have believed it but they were 100% in the uniform.I used to like the food and respect this place. We used to come here for special occasions. Key words - used to. Apparently, you come here and if you sit next to the world's rudest people who let their kids touch your table, scream for an hour near-nonstop, interfere with your enjoyment, you're supposed to take it as the "more polite person". And then, heaven forbid, you let loose a coarse word (in private conversation - not directed at another party, nor intended to be overheard), and that's the root of all evil?I thought better of this place. We won't be returning. We hope any party that eats here doesn't sit by a rude party that holds them hostage to their rudeness. We also hope they aren't served by the waitress w

Had a party of 9 and they didn't tell us before hand that they don't allow split checks in a party that size. The waitress was busy but was almost non existent. I order a business N.Y. strip and everyone at the table agreed that I was definitely given a normal beef N.Y. strip but the waitress wasn't around for me to have it swapped out. I ultimately paid for the bison steak even though that was not what I received. I will say that the atmosphere was fun and the steak was cooked to perfection!

Delicious food, wonderful staff, and great drinks! I am impressed by how knowledgeable our server was on bison, and all of their food in general. They have a full bar with some creative house recipe cocktails, and the food was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommended!

It was ok. We visited while in vacation. The vibes were there, but the food quality did not meet my expectations based on the pricing - it was definitely on the heavy side with the salt. They do have a good selection of wine and the pours were good.

Service was slow and he didn’t check on us very often . Steak was good and melted in my mouth . Desert was horrible , it’s literally a hard biscuit and ice cream .

Probably the greatest restaurant experience I’ve had to date. Not only is the food absolutely delectable and all American (the way I like food to be) the service at this Teds Montana grill is like nothing I’ve seen before. The hostess greeted me and my family with the most genuine grin and told us there was a 20 minute wait (which is completely understandable considering how extraordinary the food is). After the wait we where brought to our table by the sweetest waitress. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us regularly. I feel that the staff here really loves their jobs and shows it. I will be returning to this location and cannot wait to do so. (Side note: very well kept and clean inside!)

Copy below sent to Ted's corporate two days ago. No reply back so publishing here. We made online reservations for 5pm for Sat, April 30. We arrived at 4:35pm. We also made an online request for a booth. Upon check-in, the hostess person said they need to clear off a booth table for us and we should take a seat and wait. There were 6 booths open and about 7-8 regular tables open. We noticed one booth had a reserved sign, a couple showed a few moments after us and were seated promptly. Note: I did request a booth online We waited for 15 minutes so I went back to the hostess station and I waited for 1-2 minutes, she shows up and says, "how can I help you"? I said we are waiting to be seated for a booth. She says we arrived early and we have to wait because other people may take the booths. I pointed out there are 5 booths sitting empty. We were told to wait. The hostess was rude and making us wait for a table when at 4:50pm the place had plenty of tables open and 5 booths open. So we left the restaurant. Second comment, while were waited for 15 minutes, I took notice to the restaurant maintenance. It's pretty bad. The toddler booster seats are worn out and beat up. Needs sanding and staining. The window ledge next to the front door had lots of visible dust on it. Nobody is dusting. The liquor bar mitered corner molding was separated by 1/2", full of worn out wood and worn away wood staining, brass foot rest needs cleaning and the bar vertical wall was scruffed up from years of people's shoes hitting it. We did comment to ourselves that if the front of the house looks like this, how does the kitchen look like. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning and maintenance upkeep and better host/hostess training.

Nice dining room, very friendly staff, and good food. My steak salad for dinner was pretty good, I was not a fan of the pickles (and I love pickles), but the strawberry shortcake was OUTSTANDING.

What happened?! This place used to be really good.We went on a Saturday just before the dinner hour and only half the tables were filled. We waited an hour for a table for 4 people and 1.5 hours for 3 burgers and a salad. The waitstaff was fine, but there were obviously some issues in the back.We will probably not go back.

Jessica was a great server. Amazing attitude, extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for my dine in meal. The bison ribeye tasted phenomenal! First time here and without a doubt I'll be back soon!
