I've been coming here for 15+ years and generally enjoy the food quite a bit, especially the breakfast burritos. Unfortunately, the last couple of years it seems like every other burrito I get is off... and it kind of tastes how the place smells. The taste is chemical like almost like they cooked food right after using some kind of cleaner on the griddle? I don't know how to explain it, but it's inedible when it happens and it's an instant waste of $6. Half the time it is great, though, so maybe you'll get lucky. For what it's worth, all of the employees are extremely friendly.I'm not sure what changed but it feels dumb for me to gamble every time I go down there. Maybe I'll give it another try in a couple of years.

Very Bad experience!! First time visiting this place, I ordered a Chile relleno burrito and was expecting just that. Instead I got a burrito filled with salty beans and the smallest piece of Chile in the middle. Do not recommend

Horrible! They poured a hot red sauce all over the refried beans that poured onto my cheese enchiladas that were made out of flour tortillas yuk! Corn tortillas should be used for true enchiladas,They suck and I won't waste another penny at this hole.

Small in space and usually pretty busy. I usually call it in and pick up. Service is fast and fairly friendly. Grat breakfast burrito and tamales. We also pick up a big thing of green chili as well... it goes great on everything.

I ordered a picadillo burrito, hamburger, potatoes, tomatoes and jalapenos. There was hardly any hamburger and what there was was so overcooked. They just should have called it a potato burrito. It was so bad I just threw it away. The only thing good was the salsa.

Flavorless breakfast burritos. 7am and your meat, egg and potatoes have no flavor. Only given two stars because of the size and portion of the burritos.

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while. I’m kind of wish washy on this first order. I had the chicken burrito (smothered) and my wife had a beef enchilada and a side of beans. Both were good but nothing special and honestly spicier then either one of us like. Now the place is called the tamale kitchen so maybe we should of had the tamales to be fair. We ordered flan which was not included in the order, they must have beef out because we did not get charged for it. Flan is one of the reasons we go to certain Mex restaurants. Overall I doubt we will be back, but you never know, maybe we will try the tamales.

Ordered a chicken wet burrito. By the time I got home all the verde which was like water had leaked out of the container into the bag. Once I got home and opened it up I found the chicken was little tiny cubes of dry ground chicken, dried out rice and it tasted gross. I will never go back here. I was very disappointed. I asked the girl in the front if she had any Carnitas and she was like what? she had no idea what I was talking about. I see all Hispanics in the kitchen and white people in the front what's up with that? Just save yourself some time and money and don't go.

If you like being treated like garbage this is the place to go, I have been going here for 4 or 5 years and I will not go in if the owner is working, he clearly hates his life and takes it out on his customers, he has been rude, aggressive and demeaning to his customers and staff, I have not had one good encounter with this guy. The food is mediocre at best. STAY AWAY!!!

10/10 recommend. Delivery or in-person. Best green Chile, salsa, tamales, and crispy rellenos. My only go-to.
