We had the BEST experience & food. Our drinks were always full, our plates were filled with delicious food & the customer service was amazing! Bring your empty stomach & family. Prepare for a good time. P.S. Oder churros, and prepare to take video, for the bonus surprise!
This is my go-to place anytime we are craving Mexican food. When we dine-in we are treated extremely well and the food is amazing. When we get it to go, we get home and the food is equally amazing.
This is a great establishment. Very clean and relaxing environment. New owners and super friendly staff. Their food is delicious and came out hot. Lots of salsas and all fresh made. Outstanding desserts too. And the margaritas were good.
Thankful for new ownership. They’re focused on a great customer experience and took great care of us. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. The Plato Grande we delicious, beer was cold and service was 5 stars. Thanks for a great dinner. See you soon.
Loved it! Went with a bunch of friends and we ordered a few different plates and everything came out top notch! Highly recommended Mexican restaurant. The staff was wonderful and funny as well.
Been customers for years. Ordered takeout dinner for 2. $90? Had to ask for the margarita (now $16, was $9), guy (who appeared stoned) brought it to us and walked away. Waited 5 min before he reappeared - told him we still need to pay (we’re honest). He took our card, no receipt. Got home, food items were missing. Called, same guy answered, tried to take another order and did not comprehend our call. Charge said $72 but is now $90 - no idea what we were charged for. (Ugh. My entire days pay.) Horrible experience. Won’t be going back
Great experience here tonight! New owners are great and we love that it’s a small family run business. I hope word of mouth continues and these guys build their business and succeed! Had a carnitas burrito and a large marg. Doesn’t get much better. ;-)
We had the Jalapenos Rellenos (Sheree's Special) $11.5 Deep fried fresh roasted jalapenos peppers filled with jack and wrapped bacon with dip. Totally keto friendly. No batter! Delicious! We had the Tuesday happy hour original marguerites and tequila shots! Super service and hospitality ?
Service was the best we have experienced at any restaurant. Food was amazing!! Would give 10 stars if I could. Staff was professional, knowledgeable, and curtious. They came by the table very often to make sure our drinks were refilled and asked how everything was. We met the owner and all of the staff throughout the meal. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant that has been there for 20+ years.
El Mesón has the best and only really authentic Mexican in Highlands Ranch. In the past service was spotty but now with new ownership it has really turned around. The Mole is an authentic family recipe. The salsa is so fresh, wonderfully spicy, and just perfect every time. Margaritas can’t be beat. If you want a really authentic experience this is the place. We are so happy we came back this week and got to meet the new owner who is just amazing. We will be back!
