This was my second visit to Edo Higan, it was even better than my first visit. We started our meal with the American Dream Roll, which was amazing. Our entrees consisted of our choice of miso soup or salad, we ordered one of each; the salad was noteworthy, it was not your typical house salad. We both ordered the Kobe Strip Steak cocked on a Black Rock Grill. The Black Rock Grills is a volcanic rock heated to 800 degrees, and you cook your meat selection on it. This was an amazing experience, typically I am not impressed with Kobe Beef, but the Kobe at this restaurant was exceptional. We had good service and I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you haven’t tried stone cooking or enjoy sushi.
We came on a Monday. Wasn’t busy at all. Maybe five tables occupied. We were seated immediately, five-ten minutes go by before we meet our server, we order a drink and one seaweed salad to start with, twenty minutes go by and we still haven’t received anything or the server come to the table. Meanwhile the nice family that is by our table, that arrived after us, already ordered and received their food from a different server. We see our server and she is taking orders from a table that just sat down. Thinking she would come by after taking their orders, she goes back in and we don’t see her again. We left. Felt pretty neglected for being one of the only families in an empty restaurant and seeing people that arrived after us being cared for. We aren’t demanding people but we aren’t going to sit around forever without service either. Gave two stars bc I’ve eaten here about a year ago on a very busy night and received better service. I’ve literally never dealt with this before at a restaurant.
Best sushi I’ve had in Centennial so far! We got the Vegas, Sun something and Mexico roll. All were delicious and I highly recommend.

My BF and I ate here on wed. March 16, to celebrate the birthday of my BF's late brother (he loved sake and sushi). We were expecting it to be a rather somber evening due to the occasion. However, our server, Wendy, made sure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything tasted delicious and Wendy was very attentive to our needs. My BF ended up getting his dining experience curated by the chef and it was great seeing all of the dishes come out and explained to us. However my only critique is that we were told before doing the curated dining experience that the price range usually falls between $40-$60 a person with the highest Wendy had seen was $80. Well we made our decision based on that knowledge and when we got our check and realized it was $114 for my BF's food we were a little shocked. At some point during the meal it would have been nice to have been told what we were actually going to be paying, instead of being blindsided when handed the check. But over all it was still a wonderful evening and we appreciate the staffs dedication and hard work.
