Ordered 2 bean and beef burritos smothered with half and half with 6tacos. The burritos were hard on the bottom like a rock and smothered with something that looked like hormel Chilli. The taco shells were stale and the meat as burnt. I paid $28 for our meal, which I believe I over paid!. We will never go back again! We loved that place and are sad that it has gone down hill.
They have a drive thru and a small lobby big enough for 6 people, if they like each other.I enjoyed the breakfast burrito and the chili cheese fries. The young man at the register seemed very distracted and under trained. The music being played wasn't bad, just too loud to understand the cashier.
I went a couple months back and was the only car in the drive thru line. It took 15 minutes for 3 breakfast burritos. The chili tasted like the roux was burnt. I decided to give it another shot thinking that was a one off and went today. I arrived at 9:30am and sat at the ordering board. I waited for a few minutes with no response and decided to drive up to the building. The lights were off and nobody was there. This will be the last time I attempt to eat at Chubby's.
This place consistently screws up my order more times than not. Just ordered a bean burrito smothered in green chili at the drive through. Mind you, I’m the only one in the entire drive through.10-15 minutes and 7 dollars later I get my burrito. When I get home I discover that it’s a ground beef burrito smothered in red sauce. Threw it away right there. I will no longer patronize Chubby's and will go to Tamale Kitchen from now on. Garbage establishment.
Another disappointing chubbys ripoff. The green chili was not green chili. It was the same red enchilada sauce you get from a can. They were out of ingredients like the chicharrones. Was 3rd in line and it took an hour to get food. They said there fryer was broken. If I ever went back which I won't it will still be broken I'm sure. Ordered hot for the chili and it had no heat. Everything was bland and had no taste. The chili doesn't taste like chili and someone the melted cheese doesn't really taste like cheese. Food is gross, if your gonna wait an hour just drive to a different one.
We purchased a few breakfast burritos before hike. They got the customization on the burritos wrong, but we dealt with that. However the cheese that they put on there was cold and made the entire burrito cold. The burrito itself was very salty. The hot chili that we requested was mild at best. I had a different burrito at another Chubby's that was amazing, but I guess they don't all have the same quality. Additionally, the wait for 3 breakfast burritos was almost 20 minutes and there was only one person in front of us when we arrived. I would not recommend this place for breakfast burrito or if you're in a hurry.
The time on Google maps says they are open till 9 pm. However, I guess they decided to close earlier and didn’t change their hours or just decided to randomly close. This isn’t the first time this drop in customer service has occurred. Their hours seem to change on a whim. This place has truly gone downhill.
Phoned in my order ahead of time and still has to wait 10 minutes when I got there. Order the nachos and all my chips were burnt. Their “green chili” is so full of red chili powder that you defiantly need something to cut it like sour cream or guacamole. Next time I will not be so cheap and spend a few more dollars and go to Don Juan’s that’s down stairs and get much better food.
Dont eat here! They stole my money then lied saying they would refund my money but never did. I ordered a bean burrito, a chili relleno and 2 enchiladas, 2 orders of chips with guacamole and salsa. When it arrived I only had the bean burrito and the guacamole and salsa. I cant eat guacamole and salsa without chips. I tried calling 48 times but they must have taken the phone off the hook because it was busy everytime. So I got in my car and drove over there. I was told their fryer was broken so they couldnt make the rest of my order. Sorry. I had to ask for my money back. I was told by the young man taking orders outside that they would refund the items I didnt get. I wanted confirmation they would do that. He just said well we are are busy. Then I talked to another woman there who I thought was in charge. I suggested she cancel the order and ring up a new one for just the items I got. She said she would cancel the entire order and not charge me since I had to drive all the way over there. But that was a big fat lie. I was not refunded. I paid $51.00 for a bean burrito and salsa and guacamole I cant eat because I didnt get any chips. I was a once per week repeat customer, but I wont ever go back now. I will order from 4 G's across the street! I dont see my original post. They must have deleted it. So I will post it again! And if they delete it again I will post it again! I will post once a day for the next year! Shame on you Chubbys!! I work hard to earn a living and cant afford to have people like you steal from me!!
This is the slowest service place I've ever been to in my life. I literally went their during the middle of the Russian war and went I got home the war was over. But if your car doesn't run out of gas or electricity in the drive thru, the food is pretty good
