I went in to buy some pico de gallo. The container was super small and the price was about $6. That is ridiculous. I looked at other things and I can't understand how people can afford to buy all of their groceries there. The store was clean and the employees were super friendly. The shelves were well stocked. The salad bar looks great with lots of fresh looking choices but again, it was far too expensive for my taste. If you are wealthy, this is the place for you. I left without buying anything.
Place is more like a coffee & juice bar. Drinks are good. They offer interesting add-ons (i.e., collagen shot, brain booster). Talkative batistas so you may stand in line for quite awhile. Ah their location is inside Whole Foods!
the 1st and only drink I've ever ordered from here was the green goddess..it was $10 for a large and they call it "healthy" but I think it tasted nasty. I feel robbed of $10 and the drink definitely didn't leave a good impression.
I loved Whole Foods when they first opened near us and were actually still more of a natural/ organic food store. With all the acquisitions and mergers it has less and less 'organic' and true 'natural' foods to buy. Or, there is simply less organic food vendors for them to buy from (not sure which). In any case, I miss the old days. Since being bought by Amazon, I have far less choices now.
Great little coffee shop. They are actually called "Squeez Grind", not Allegro Coffee. They sell Allegro coffee brand, but you will not find inside the store, the "Allegro Coffee Shop". The name is "Squeez Grind".
