This place was awesome! We were seated immediately, and had almost finished eating by 35min later. The food was delicious (I even added bacon after seeing Nick's?), we had mimosas to close out our date-aversary celebration. The owner herself (Maria) introduced herself to us when we checked out. And she normally has house made baklava on hand, but didn't get her nut delivery - so now we have a great reason to go back. Highly recommend! 20 stars!

Staff was friendly. Waitress hardly spoke to us, but was prompt with our orders and drinks. Food on the other hand was tasteless, and overcooked. Coffee tasted like water. I could tell the waitress had not washed her hands because she still had food underneath her nails, and the little I ate tore my stomach up. The atmosphere was nice though, dining area was decorated like a typical breakfast diner.
This is always my favorite restaurant for a hearty breakfast when I am in Lakewood. Great food and excellent service
Another old style family restaurant I would dare say gives Lakewood its down home feel. Fresh Baklava on the West side! Who knew!
good gyros..good service
Very busy on Sunday morning. Traffic jam at the entrance with people waiting to be seated and waiting to pay. Good variety of breakfast choices. Skillets are yummy and you get a lot for the price. Be careful ordering juices and breakfast sides. They are available but not shown on the meny and are pricey. Of course with all of the shortages lately it is to be expected.
This afternoon, my wife and I arrived at Valley Inn at 2:30pm. Before going in, I asked my wife to check their website to see what time they closed; she said 3:00pm. We continued in and were seated by a young man. We looked at the menue and decided what we wanted. Shortly after, a waitress came to our table, greeted us and then began to inform us the restaurant closes at 3:00pm. She asked if we still wanted to order. I quiped back to her with a smile on my face: "what are you going to do kick us out if we are not finished?" She replied: "no, but we will all be staring at you." My wife and I were astounished with her reply in which my wife then suggested we go elswhere. My wife owns a service based business and I am employed in public service. Neither one of us could imagine treating customers or clients in the manner we just were. We have frequented this restaurant often over the last 20+ years. Needless to say, we wont be going back.
Best bloody bacon! Perfect balance of flavor.Love the chili cheese fries. Dying to try the carnitas rolls but been out when I visit each time. Next time!Love the country skillet, gyro meat on the Greek dishes is fantastic!Love the decor and family atmosphere here. Wait staff is so friendly too!Definitely a gem here in Lakewood and the metro!
This place is usually good but today they screwed us. Food was spoiled and they over charged us. Tell me how 3 people getting basic 15 dollar meals turned into 103$ she knew she overcharged us and she was the rudest waitress ever. We’ve been loyal customers for years but never again.
