I have been coming to this restaurant for ears and I found foil in my guacamole. I called several times and no response. I am very disappointed and I will probably never be back after 20 years of coming to this restaurant
Ordered a quart of green chili and received a quart of orange tomato sauce with a little pepper in it. It’s snowy, I’m semi ill & was craving green chili. This is hands down the absolute worst green chili any one has ever tried to sell me. Everything else I ordered was passable but if you’re wanting green chili don’t get it here.
Did not taste good, chicken was dry and the beans didn't taste good. They ran out of hard shells when we were there. The smell upon entering should have the first clue. The staff was nice and friendly.
I'm going to give them 4 stars.Only because they did really good the 2 times before yesterday.We ordered through grubhub yesterday and we made it for pickup.When Gee got there to pick it up they said it wasn't paid for.So Brian went with Gee to pick it up.I took screen shots of it and sent it to Brian's phone.That it was paid for.When they got there they told them "Sorry for the oops. It was paid."But really Great food.
I love Tamale Kitchen food, but this location is my least favorite. They don’t often get key order right. My favorite location is Edgewater. More personal service and friendly staff. The prices are way way higher than Santiago’s which I like too. Santiago’s is $8 for Huevos Rancheros, Tamale Kitchen is $11!!!!
Why do I keep going back to TK? Every location is worse than the last. Food is mediocre at best and the customer service is worse than the DMV. I asked to add chicharones to my burrito and the woman behind the counter looked at me like I asked her to sacrifice her child. Not only did they forget to add the chicharones but they forgot the bacon on a bacon breakfast burrito as well. When they gave me the order the chili leaked out of styrofoam container into the plastic bag. They complained when I handed it back to them like this to correct the order. Burrito was noticeably smaller after they remade it. SO MANY better spots to go for Mexican food with better service and food quality.
Been sick with head cold all week, all it took was one great meal & 30 minutes later - BAM!! works better than medication! More than just great food everytime! And the ladies that work there have fantastic service!
I erased my last review and now this is a NEW one. So my wife went there again today and I was like really okay I’ll give it another try. So first off the lady in the window very disrespectful. Second gave us a burrito that wasn’t even ham they gave us pork rinds that were burnt too the crisp the most nastiest burrito I ever had and I like pork rinds in my burrito’s. This place lacks professionalism and the food straight up suck’s. We have gave this place 2 chances and each time poor people skills and food is always wrong and disgusting. I believe strongly this place should be audited and shut down. I read other reviews and when I seen the 5 star reviews I laughed and said these people must be paid too write these reviews from the owners or something cause this place with full honesty is disgusting. This company needs a menu change and new employee’s that know how too treat customers and that care about there job. I honestly hope this location gets shut down.
We saw online the special for 99cent taco Mondays. We pulled up the Lakewood location so we drove further to that location that had it posted. The young lady said there location does not offer the deal. They did not seem to care at all that it’s listed online nor offered to honor it. Yes, we drove to Taco Bell to pay more for less quality because of principal! Never going back been going for years
The place is awesome, it feels like your aunt or family members are cooking the food for you. Excellent mexican food. The staff is working fast and hard. The best part is the prices. Very reasonable. I will be coming back again thanks
