Tried out the lunch special with the Boston roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. The shrimp to roll ratio was definitely on the small side, but still pretty decent sushi for the price. The tempura batter is also a little heavier than I normally like. Miso soup was good, a nice touch when it's a cold day.
Swift friendly service combined with lovey presentation and delicious food equals a perfect score. Orion sushi was a wonderful experience! My wife and I went for a date to remember here. We ordered tempura shrimp which were fried beautifully. Our main course consisted of the Hawaiian roll, Orion Signature, Firecracker and Rainbow. All of them were delightful. Highly recommend Orion Sushi.
I've been coming here for quite a while now. Not once have I had a bad experience. Amazing sushi, great quality fish and fresh to the taste each and every time. Staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. Sushi chefs are fun and great at what they do. Highly recommend and not afraid to say this might be the best sushi spot I've been to in Colorado hands down, and I've lived here 19 years of my life.
I've been here twice. Orion staff do a great job on offering a wide variety to their customers. There's something for everyone on the menu. That said, I found this little gem that isn't found on the online menu. I assume it's because of the uni and fatty tuna that at times can be in limited supply. Regardless, it's a decadent treat that I don't see often. I'll be back to try more items for sure. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars, is that the wait took longer than expected from my colleagues who ordered and received their food sooner.

A hidden gem in Lakewood. Exceptional quality sushi, great service and the they care about presentation. So many sushi restaurants have let the presentation element dwindle to nothing more than a fancy plate but not here. I had the new style sashimi appetizer with yellowtail and salmon in a ponzu sauce and garnished with herbs and tobiko. Excellent start. Then came the Aburi style seared nigiri topped with Japanese mayo, scallop and two kinds of salmon. The scallop was the star of this course, so good I reordered it. Then the salmon belly sashimi entree, absolutely amazingly good. Served on ice topped with daikon radish and a hidden pulsing neon light. Fun. Then the Black Dragon roll with spicy crab and tempura shrimp inside, rolled and topped with avocado and freshwater eel and garnished with eel sauce and sesame seeds. This was the only disappointment as this roll would have benefited from more of the savory eel sauce. Of course they have a nice selection of sakes and Japanese beers to round out the meal. Orion Sushi can hang with the best places in Denver.
Soooo sooo good. Beautiful presentation, perfect textures, great sauces and tastes. All staff was super friendly and helpful. So happy we stumbled on this place. I will definitely be back!
I absolutely love coming to the sushi bar. The chefs are so much fun and it always looks and taste wonderful. Since I found them haven't been anywhere else. Another great benefit for me is a 10 minute walk.

Absolutely outstanding cuisine! Hands down the best sushi rolls I've ever had. Looking forward to sampling the sashimi next visit. Staff was attentive and very polite. I cannot recommend Orion Sushi highly enough!
