First time visiting Motomaki, I would definitely try it again :) Little pricey but the quality is very good and the portion size is satisfying. Fresh delicious ingredients and good presentation! Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. The ordering was no-contact kiosks. Bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside, lots of seating.

Paid $17 for the smallest sushi burrito I have ever had. It was tasty, don't get me wrong, but absolutely tiny for the price. Also, not very personable employees who obviously do not enjoy/care about their job.

Easy to order kiosks....generous bowl servings. My salmon bowl included ample servings of avocado, asparagus and bacon! The half rice and greens option had all the rice I could eat ?

The food here is amazing! Fresh, made to order. We were there early enough on a Saturday where it was quiet. The order process is quite intense! So many options! Also it is done at a kiosk and they only have 2 there we could see. So you have to be patient (only reason for a 4 star versus 5). Hopefully they open one soon in Colorado Springs!

Their BYO bowls and BYO rolls are delicious everytime! We love coming here for the seared ahi and cali mix especially. Selena S always seems to get our order out correct as well.

Went here tonight ordered sushi burritos and they where sloppy couldn't even take a bite and everything fell apart. This place is going down hill it was never this way before. I think the new workers don't give a dam about the quality of food before they serve it what a shame I want go there ever again

Went here once and then again and then again in 8 days while visiting the area.Hands down most fresh pokebowls I’ve had in a long time.I tried salmon and then shrimp tempura bowls. Liked the salmon a lot better.Cannot wait to be back and eat it again. Dreaming of it!Thanks!

How the mighty have fallen. I have raved about motomaki for years but have watched it slowly lose every good quality it once had.I frequent this location once a month or so, it’s always been not as good as the Boulder location. I always get two rolls— one tempura shrimp and one of their tuna BLT rolls. I *could* eat both in one sitting but usually do half of each and come back for seconds later. The rolls have always been ample in size however I’ve noticed them getting smaller and smaller with every visit. They used to offer some really tasty craft sodas, made with cane sugar. Can’t remember the brand but they were wonderful. Today I paid $3 for a small cup and some under carbonated, mostly water Mountain Dew. I’m sorry but $3 for Pepsi products in a 12oz cup ain’t right. Movie theaters offer more ounce per penny than that. They cheapened their product but didn’t adjust the price. When I arrived today, there was one team member at the register (I was paying cash and couldn’t order at their very awkward kiosks). I stood there for 8 minutes while she played on her phone, got into an argument with someone working on the line, and then maybe went on break? Quit? Who knows. Finally one of the other FOUR people standing maybe an arms reach away from me acknowledged my existence and took my order. The place was filthy and I say that because I am used to Motomaki being absolutely immaculate from top to bottom. It was sticky and dingy by comparison. The tuna BLT roll was good, but so small I ate it in three bites. No wasabi and no ginger. Had to ask for soy sauce (thank god I did). The tempura roll may or may not have had a shrimp tempura in it. Couldn’t tell ya because while I’m used to a hot crispy piece of shrimp there was nothing hot and crispy and whatever other toppings were so saucy and sloppy in the roll that it just tasted like siracha mayo and fake crab. Total bummer$40 for lunch for 1 person and I *expect* better out of this brand.

I was led here by the smell of cookies. After buying some cookies next door, I looked at the menu here and was tempted in by the idea of a Bahn Mi Rice Roll (which is called the Hawaiian Something or another). Well, on paper it is a fabulous idea. In execution, it was a disaster. They make the wraps in aluminum foil. The wrap is then essentially stuck to the foil. I did my best, but kept eating bits of the foil (Yum!!). I then gave up and tried to peel the foil off, which just created a disastrous mess. Don't try to eat one in your car. Just get the bowl. But even then, I would much rather get a real Bahn Mi for $5 vs. One of these $14 hipster creations. Just my experience and opinion...

This place was really delicious and fast. I did the build your own bowl which I recommend if you're not sure about the menu. It does get a little pricey but not when compared to other poke places with a build your own bowl offering
