The Lamp post Inn is a great dive bar here in lakewood. The bartenders are very friendly along with the people that visit. Everyone likes to be on a first name basis. They have two pool tables which are in decent shape and the Jukebox seem to be playing while we were there.
Could be a great dive bar but more of a *hole. Basic beer selection from Anheuser Busch and Coors, Corona, nothing else. No top shelf. Cash only.It could be a great local spot if they would clean it up and modernize just a tad.

I always have a fun time at this bar. The Lamp Post Inn is not a fancy place. It's a neighborhood bar with always pleasant people to start up a conversation with. Kelsy is my favorite bartender there. She never forgets what I drink.And you get a spin at the wheel for a price reduction or not on your next drink.
It's a good little family bar.
Two beers on tap: Budweiser and Bud Light. Good times, friendly people, what else do you need?
