I love to support small businesses and track their success. Mediocre food and lackluster waitstaff at Dcha café. They could use training in basic customer service and sales. Because the products offered here are nothing unique or outstanding, it’s important to make up for that with a great atmosphere of service. As an investor in NYC, I’ve seen many restaurants fail within a short period… although location and product matter it’s mostly related to poor customer/sales skills which lead to low word of mouth and low repeat business. As convenient as this place is, and as quaint as the location and decor are …. I’d rather spend my money at the French bistro just up the street. The person who served my party wasn’t rude or unfriendly, but she could’ve sold us some lemonade simply based on our asking for something without caffeine. Not to mention that it took her 5 minutes to even come to the counter to take our order while she focused on her phone. Although we were the only customers there, she didn’t exert any effort but still expected a tip she didn’t earn. In the end we didn’t enjoy what we ordered and we won’t be recommending it to others although we live within 5-minute walking distance.
So many things were wrong and let me explain:- My strawberry/banana smoothie was awful! Flavors tasted processed and more like candy- The owner yelled at a employee and the employee looked so embarrassed I felt bad- Coffee tasted BURNEDThe employee was so nice but I think she might’ve been nervous and scared of the owner. That’s considered abuse. Also can explain why the drinks were off. If you actually want your employees to do better, treat them better! How sad :(
I ordered 2 milk tea boba from here and they were awful. The mixture was very watery as though The measurements were completely off. The milk tea powder was so poorly mixed that I was getting chunks of it through my straw as I drank it. I've tried many boba places and this one was by far the worst.
I love this place for milk tea and smoothies! The employees are always pleasant and make me feel welcome. I like the brown sugar tea and recently tried a vanilla mango smoothie and it was incredible. I’ll be back often!
I’m gonna try again but I waited at least 30 minutes for a boba tea… then the boba was interesting. Half was normal & half of the boba was rock hard and white & some kind of different boba. No clue. If it’s that way again it will be my last stop.

If I didn’t think the owner was very sweet I would give this place a 1 Stare. I work at Belmar and I go here for lunch sometime. The staff is inconsistent. Sometimes the customer service is good sometimes it’s really bad!Today I cam in for lunch and there card reader isn’t working, they dont take Apple Pay. Cash only but no atm to get cash in Belmar. They lost my service today only because I couldn’t pay them. This is the 3rd time there card reader is down…. Decha I want to eat here but you have to be able to take my money.
Best customer service ever I believe the young ladies name was Oty she is a rock star and really made my day new to the shop she was very helpful and very patient with me Thank you for dealing with my million questions differently will be returning ?
The drinks are fine, but don’t come here unless you have literally half an hour to wait for a coffee.
I had Tumeric ginger chai it was very tasty not spicy as I thought it might be. The other drink was a Brown sugar boba tea, my daughter said it was really good. It tends to be busy and expect to wait but it's worth it.
