The food is very delicious!!! I had a great time chatting with the owner about baseball. Great food from great people!!
The food is great and the service is awesome. I really like how much love is in the ambiance. Thanks I will come back next time I'm in town!!
I didn't get a picture because I snarfed my food. My polish sausage was really juicy and had a nice snap. The sour kraut was good too. The lady that took our order was really nice.
I liked the family owned atmosphere, but I found the Italian beef sandwich to be a bit lack luster. The flavor needed a little extra something, and the bread could have used to be crispier.
I’m not from Chicago, but I appreciate the hell out of a good Chicago dog. This place by FAR has the best in Denver. The fries were also really good- it’s a given that you don’t put ketchup on a dog but the fries were so good they didn’t need ketchup either. When I went it was just one man behind the counter, didn’t catch his name but will definitely ask when I come back.
I've been eating here for 19 years. I was utterly charmed from my first visit on. Chicagoans can be Onery, apparently. I love it! They're quirky, funny, friendly, and fair warning- they'll scowl or even grouse at you, if you ask for ketchup on your dog. (Pro-tip,) if you Must; there's ketchup on the dining room. Do it stealth-like. If You Absolutely Must. Kids are exempt, although they'll get razzed a little bit too. I love these people, and the Vienna Beef sandwiches are Glory. Hey the Special.
I worked in Chicago for many years doing Ironwork. I have also been to Soldiers field many times for Bears games. This restaurant brings back great memories of then. I have had the beef and sausage combo with mozzarella and giardiniera and it was outstanding. Such a fun place to go. We will most definitely be back. Bob Percy
One of the few Denver spot for Chicago staples of Italian beef and hot dogs. Vienna beef!
From the Green River soda to the way that the bread on the Italian beef flakes off after being dipped. This place truly serves up Chicago style beef and dogs. The taste of the beef reminds me of the original Portillo recipe before they sold and went public. No need to drive into Denver for Mustard’s Last Stand II. This joint is my new favorite!
i'm from NY and have no idea what chicago food is but this was soooooo good fast affordable and the FRESHEST fries i've had. YUM!
