If busy, do take-out. The eggplant parm is amazing, and you can’t go wrong with the caprese salad!
Mostly cheese, very little flavor. The waitress had suggested Bob's favorite. I saw that it had 3 cheeses and asked for something with a cream base, but less cheese. She suggested Barbs favorite instead. I don't know how that plate was suggested to be less cheese, because the noodles were barely visible through the globs of mozzarella. There was hardly any cream sauce. I took a few bites and then boxed the rest.I'm glad we tried a new restaurant, but probably won't be returning to this one. I really had high hopes with all the positive reviews this place has.
This place is always great. Huge menu, quick service. My servers always seem to be new and take a little longer but that doesn’t really change the fact I love the food and the atmosphere. Delicious simple and affordable
Cafe Jordano is a hidden GEM! I've lived in Lakewood for a couple years and have always driven by it but never thought twice to actually go (it's tucked away in the same strip mall as a Safeway and looks unassuming from the outside but don't judge a book by it's cover!). After hearing multiple Lakewood locals rave about it, my fiance and I finally decided to give it a shot. We went in on a Saturday night around 8pm (also happened to be my birthday) and we found a great spot at the bar - It was lively but not overly crowded which was perfect. The food was incredible (we got mussels in the spicy sauce and lobster ravioli) and the service was wonderful (our bartender that night was Cade and he was attentive and friendly and fun to chat with!). 12/10 recommend this place and I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.
Best Italian food I’ve found near Denver if you’re looking for authentic family-owned with high quality ingredients and fantastic service.
What a difference the years make. The fettuccine was a gelatinous gob of overcooked pasta with heavy cream, the spaghetti was way over done, the meatballs were, ummm, soft!!! The puttenesca was okay..Sicilian lasagna was bland, and again overcooked pasta. Our waitress was fine. But...the people bussing the tables were way to eager to take away plates....too bad the emphasis seems to be on turning over tables rather than maintaing quality of the food.
Very good shrimp fresco and lasagna. Bread was good with the olive oil on the table. Plenty of parking at 1 pm. Service was a little slow.
What I enjoy about this place is the authentic feel. The owner is ever present, truly owning her restaurant. And the food is delicious, melt in your mouth phenomenal. I've enjoyed date night here and on my recent trip, the cheese ravioli and a glass of wine solo at the bar. Still felt welcomed and at home.
WOW - what an incredible family owned local Italian restaurant!! Where to begin? The food is so fresh and flavorful. The New England Clam Chowder was really good. All the pasta dishes we ordered were very delicious and generous portions. It was busy and service was still attentive and our food came out at a normal time. Prices were extremely fair. Highly recommend!
Excellent food and great service it was really busy and we still didn't have to wait very long highly recommend thus place!
