Salad Nicoise and a hefeweizen al fresco, in the spring, when it's warm. It's on the bike route, which facilitates that. Or, happy hour off the N-Judah. Bring a laptop in the mornings, for a little not-really-working to go with your brioche.
I drove 20 minutes to try this place, while I was inside for 15 minutes there wasn't a single person at the coffee bar making coffee or taking orders, there's no free internet, and it was difficult to find because it's inside of church.

I walked 30 min to get here and they were closed. I suggested an edit for the hours because it said they should be open for 2 more hours. Would have loved to try it.
Hours say 7am to 5pm on Thursday, went in at 1230 pm and they are closed. Bummer.
Always friendly staff and very cozy atmosphere with a firepit outside to sit near as well.
