This place was authentic and prices are more affordable then other breakfast taco or breakfast burrito joints! I was pleased that for two people it was under 10 bucks. But, with tip you spend about 3 more bucks making it 13 even or maybe 15 even! Either way, I wish they would open a tamale house in pueblo, co!
You guys make me so mad because y'alls breakfast burritos are absolutely SO FIRE and the best in Douglas County HOW-FRICKIN-EVER YOU WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. EVER. Please answer the phone, we love you so much.
The value that you get from this restaurant is incredible, I had heard from friends about this place and had to go check it out. I found the staff to be very kind and welcoming. Great food and even better service. I will be recommending to friends, family, and coworkers. I can’t wait to come back soon!
FIRST OFF, this place usually has a line in the morning to order but it's worth it. It's not a generic Mexican like so many others.Tamale Kitchen has classic mexican dishes with flavor. They are not like a lot of average mexican restaurants where the sauces are just runny and lack flavor because of no seasoning or salt. The green chile is thicker and flavorful and it doesn't quickly run off the food it's put on. The enchilada sauce is red and thick with deep flavor. I ordered a egg and potato breakfast burrito special (green chile inside) and also smothered because I love the green chile. I also ordered a beef enchilada and you can see from the picture a nice thick sauce with deep flavor. The green tamale is one of my favorites, it's also spicier than the red tamale.Again, not a generic mexican restaurant that you'll typically find.
This is the go to spot for breakfast burritos. We drive out of our way to get these on sunday. Egg bacon potato and egg chorizo potato are goated. The temales are good too, but not good enough for the whole establishment to be named after them. Nontheless, a great -- convenient place for some yummy burritos.
Worst tacos I have ever had. Bought 4 carne asada tacos and got over charged for very bad tacos. Save your time and money and go find a taco truck. 20.00$ for tacos you couldn’t even pick up. Thanks for making my lunch break horrible. Hire better kitchen staff that know how to make a dam taco. Sad
This place is really good and reasonable, the picture on the left is a enchiladas plate the one on the right is a Mexican Hamburger.
Great food, usually pretty great. They have a new cashier doesn’t seem to care about the customers so it kinda brings the vibe down. Hopefully they learn to have less of an attitude while still training and come off less as a careless teen
Love Tamale Kitchen! We come in for breakfast burritos every chance we get, as we live close by. Love that there is an egg, cheese and potato option for our daughter who is a vegetarian, and meat options for the rest of the family. If we're eating there, we get our burritos smothered, and if we're taking them to go, we order them special. The sauce is amazing, a perfect amount of spicy! Super friendly staff, quick service too!
I have never been to this Tamale Kitchen had to go out there to pick up tamales for my job and all my co-workers... And it's a very very well put together nice staff and before it gets super cold.... Thank you for making my day very special and I will be back
