Noah was a very personable and AWESOME server!!Service was amazing, even though the place was full!! (Which was SO great with what we've all been through the past couple of years.)Tim was his charming self, like he always is!! And the food was (and always is) delicious!!This place is highly recommended!!

This was the first time we visited Casa Caliente, the restaurant was very clean and inviting. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food looked so good but it was bland. Don't ask me how the green chili was, I didn't find any on my plate. I was disappointed.Edit- Not sure what the owner response even means. Of course I ordered it. I gave a kind review, and commented that the food would be something you would find in our nursing home. I'm sorry if that offends the owner.

Huge portion sizes. I had dinner for two days. Food arrived hot and was very delicious. Chips and queso also enough for days. Great restaurant.

Not Mexican in Highlands RanchMy husband and I decided to try this place because it had gluten free. We came in and saw the gluten-free menu. My husband asked for the gluten free menu and the hostess said “we don’t have one”. 17 minutes after being sat down our waitress came by wanting to take our drink and food order. (Side note) She was obviously training, was super sweet and did her best. Although we did get forgotten about. The chips are fried in the same frier as everything else. The waitress grabbed the menu my husband pointed at for gluten free. He ordered the boneless wings and tostada. The wings were fried in oil that turned everything dark and tasted bad. His tostada had such a bad flavor that he couldn’t eat it. Mind you, this is a man who will eat pretty much anything. We sent everything back and he tried a basic chicken and cheese only quesadilla. When it came out, it was not from the “fresh made tortilla maker” but greasy chicken with peppers, onion and cheese.Personally I had the tamales with black beans. Never in my life have I had liquid smoke in black beans. The rice was so dry when I dropped an ice cube it absorbed quickly. The “gluten free” is not. It’s cross contaminated. I’m in bloating pain. If your going to say “gluten free” it needs to be “gluten free” not cross contaminated.Horrible!!!!! The poor server knew it was bad and the “manager” was rude. We don’t complain we are foodies who just enjoy eating out. Worst experience ever…adding the country music in the background. Tortilla making machine shown pictures, well it is sitting at the front of the restaurant NOT being used.Skye, go be a server somewhere else. You did a great job and a sweetheart, you deserve better.

great food for the price. the wait staff is super friendly even when it's busy. I'm pretty sure the owners work along side everyone and seem super nice.

We’ve been there twice. First time our experience was great - conversational and punctual server, delicious food… so we came back tonight with our toddler. Bad decision. We understand that it’s a busy night, but sitting on the patio chairs and waiting for three simple dishes (no customization needed) for over an hour is not a pleasant experience. To top that off, our server Chloe didn’t seem to care at all. She did give us a pitcher of water/tea, and then she went on to serve other people who ordered more drinks. Not even a “sorry that it’s taking so long”, all we heard was “the kitchen is very busy”. Nothing else. We saw people who were seated after us get their food, and of course they also ordered giant Margaritas. We saw our server act very friendly to those who ordered drinks and were seated after us. The food I received was no more than mediocre and very bland (husband liked his food though), which didn’t help. We finished eating in 10 minutes and paid the bill in full. Sorry about the small tip but you really didn’t earn it. The only reason that we still tipped is because of the friendly lady who served us chips when we sat down (she also came back to ask if we needed more chips, which was very kind). All in all, we got a server who didn’t care about our experience (is it because we had a toddler, or because we didn’t spend money on drinks with a toddler sitting next to us?), bad luck, but the experience tonight is so unforgettable that we will not be coming back or recommending the restaurant to anyone.Update: Clearly owner can’t handle any constructive feedback. Instead of owning the problem, owner responded in an extremely unprofessional and rude manner (speaking of hiding behind the phone/computer lol), although it seems like that’s how the owner has always been when it comes to negative reviews. If you can’t handle negative reviews, why bother open a restaurant or get on social media? Your response truly shows why the restaurant is the way it is. Very pathetic.

This is a nice cozy family spot. The food is good and the portions are more than adequate. The service is very friendly

Let me just say the waitress was amazing. But we will never be back. We started with the corn nuggets which actually were decent. Unfortunately that’s not enough of a reason for us to return. We didn’t enjoy the salsas, although the concept of a trio of salsas is a great idea. We shared the shrimp and chicken fajitas. The menu talks about spices on the meat for the fajitas but these were the blandest fajitas I have ever tasted. We kept trying to add salsas and things to them but they were just so flavorless. We couldn’t even finish it. The chicken tasted boiled and shrimp tasted odd. The chips were good. Overall this just didn’t feel like a Mexican restaurant as much as a very Americanized style of food.

I went on cinco de mayo last night with my girlfriend to get some churros and appetizers, we found out they were out of churros which was disappointing, however the staff was kind, professional and punctual and I was satisfied with my experience. Plus the place is really cool and gives off a pretty sick vibe

Celebrated my husband's SURPRISE 60th Birthday party at Casa Calliente. What a great location. Perfect setting!!! The room was just right for 20ish people. The food was fantastic. The service was superior. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks so much for helping me give my husband a wonderful 60th Birthday!!!
