The food was varied and delicious (just the right amounts of spice), the proprietor friendly and informative. We were not rushed, so had a pleasant evening lingering over dinner with some friends. My only suggestion: is there possibly a recipe for a chocolate dessert that would be considered Indian fare? ?

First time here and loved it. Service is great and the food is delicious and authentic, tastes good and looks great. Most importantly it just feels good as soon as you walk in because the vibe and decorations is perfect. I’ll be coming back definitely. Thank you Jessie for your great service and making us laugh.

Great place to eat some Indian cuisine. The server was awesome, polite and attentive. Lassie was great for cooling off some spicy curry, definitely recommend!

So this is my 4th time coming here with my family and friends. Every time we dined in here, we always got great service but most importantly the food and the mango and strawberry lassi was on point, so delicious. My favorites would be Tandoori Chicken, Alu paratah bread stuffed with patato with Indian masala, and saag/chicken paneer. Definitely the place to bring your family and friends here on any occasions. Thank you again for putting smiles on our faces.

The food was shockingly bad… not just bland but a bad taste. The vegetables are obviously from a frozen bag, some of the peas were still partially frozen. We both got bad stomach aches. So disappointed as there are so many good reviews.

Every restaurant has there own spin on dishes. This was not my action. Try it for yourself and decide.

Amazing food. So glad we tried it. Really great saag and curry. Excellent friendly service. Clean and peaceful. Highly recommend.

This is truly a case of don’t just a book by its cover. The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall on University between an antique store and a liquor store but from the moment you walk in all of that fades away. The restaurant is clean and appears to be recently renovated in a casual sophistication that perfectly sets the tone for the meal to come. We were taken care of by a young gentleman who was polite and knowledgeable with a friendly smile. My husband and I started with Chai while we looked over the menu and I immediately knew it was going to be a great meal. Everything we ordered was made fresh to order from scratch and whoever is in that kitchen has an exceptional pallet. It was everything we could have hoped for and then some. We’ve been to a few Indian restaurants in Denver but no one compares to the quality of Shangrila. One of the only places good enough to take my in-laws to. I hope to be able to continue to go there for years to come.

I love Indian food but it was really hard to find a good Indian restaurant. Untill now. Shangrla is absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken Korma and it was mouthwatering. The chicken was super tender and juicy. The Korma sauce was incredibly tasty and creamy. This place is a must if you like Indian food.

Ordered veg momos, papadam, naan, chapati and panner tikka masala. Loved the momos and chutney! The gravy for kadhai paneer was kind of bland and thin.Overall, good food. Will visit again for thukpa and some indo chinese dishes! Gulab jamun was good too.
