Have eaten here before and had good food and service but last night was not good. It's 6:30 on a Tuesday night and they are out of guacamole and will not make any more. WHAT!! A Mexican restaurant that doesn't have a product that goes on half of the menu items. So I order the deluxe chicken enchiladas. The waiter comes out after 15 minutes and says the kitchen is backed up and apologized for the long delay. We finally get our food after 25 minutes and It looks like my plate has been sitting under the heat strip for about 10 minutes. Dry and warm, not hot at all. I don't want to return it because the "kitchen is backed up " so I eat what I can which might have been good at one point. The waiter was great. Kitchen experience not. There was 4 adults and 2 kids in our party.I doubt that we will be back.
7/5/22-We ended up at this place when we found Tacobe was closed and Benedict's was way over priced. The food is a great price for the amount you get and it tastes good. The service is also good and they are very understanding. The bad part of our meal experience was due to other guests. We were here on a work day during lunch and there were a lot of tables talking business. One of the tables beside us the lady was talking about micromanging employees to just get rid of the ones she doesn't like instead of trying to nuture and help people. She was also making a lot of discrimatory remarks. She's the one in the hat in the photos. We asked to be moved and the restaurant was great about getting us away from her. Just be aware that this place fills up with local workers and they have no issue about being loud and mean to people.
Chuy's is always a favorite. Really great Tex-Mex food and I especially love the chicken taquitos. The salsa is fresh and the queso is really tasty too.
Awesome food and Service! I had the Flautas (I recommended Highly) and my dish was flawless! They also have a really nice outside Patio for those Nice days! Chuy’s Motif is interestingly nostalgic and appealing! I especially enjoyed the “Pet Wall” they feature where if you bring in a framed picture of your Pet they will hang it on the wall for posterity-Very Creative Touch and gesture for their patrons! Five Stars All Day Everyday!
This is the most bland Tex Mex we've EVER had. Chuy's claims to make their own white corn tortillas. The problem is they have no flavor. My wife and I both ordered the chicken enchiladas. They were absolutely flavorless, as opposed to the beans and rice which were delicious! The service here was top-notch. Our server did everything she could to make dinner enjoyable. We'll never be back. I've had more flavorful microwave enchiladas.
Horrible overpriced margarita. Ordered happy hour priced margarita got charged full price. Ask to speak to manager. Manager came and basically told us to deal with it. Guy's name is Raul. Super rude. Hope it was worth arguing over 1 star review. First and last time. Congrats on the awesome hospitality and experience Raul.
Tasty food but the staff members are the highlights of this place. The atmosphere is a very close second. The decor makes me jealous really great establishment overall.
1 star is generous. That was only because the drinks weren't watered down. Chicken enchiladas tasted like frozen or canned. And yes they were served cold. Prices were rediculous!! 2 drinks, enchiladas, $50 after tip. Service was poor but his attitude was positive. I've had better Mexican at Jack in the Box! Yuck. Never again.
All of our food came out cold and had dried films on top. The staff were very kind when this was pointed out and did their best to rectify the situation, but it's hard to excuse a full table of cold food.
Love the atmosphere and helpful staff. We really love the chips and queso appetizer. We no longer live close by to a Chuy's anymore so any chance we get we stop by.Nice place for families too.
