I went to Berry Blendz today with my son to fulfill a pregnancy craving I was having. I got my son a 16oz banana smoothie and a 24oz jazzberry. I was charged almost $22 for the entire purchase. I thought that was a bit high for two smoothies?? Does that seem a little off? Anyways, it didn’t take more than I would expect for a smoothie to get made. And before the smoothies were handed to me they told me that my total was $13 something. I told the man that I had already paid and he said gave me my smoothies. It didn’t hit me until I was driving somewhere that none of that makes sense. $21.78 was charged to my account. The man told me my total was $13? So I’m not sure if I was up charged or not? But the drinks were not awful, they were actually fairly good, but I probably won’t be coming back because $21.78 seems a little ridiculous for pretty basic smoothies.
WARNING: Each smoothie takes 10 minutes or more to make!We pulled up to the drive through nobody in the lobby and three cars in front of us that has already ordered. Place an order for two smoothies. Waited almost 15 minutes for the first car (the one that had been at the window when we ordered) to get their smoothie. Second car took an additional 10 minutes to get their single smoothie. third car took 11 minutes to get their single smoothie. Finally get to the window after being stuck in the drive-through (no way to escape since there were cars behind us now) for I kid you not 36 minutes! Wasn't even acknowledged for another 3 minutes when we asked if our smoothies were ready. The response "No, I'm sorry we've been really busy."I'm not really one to get upset especially at workers, but if you work at a place that only makes one thing... Smoothies, and it takes you over 10 minutes to make each one, you might want to look for employment elsewhere. May be the DMV or something...At minimum they should put an estimated wait time on the drive through or at least some sort of warning about the time it takes to prepare each smoothie before getting stuck with no way to escape the line. There were two employees working, and after we left without our order (refused to wait another 20+ minutes) again nobody was in the lobby. I cannot imagine that making a smoothie realistically takes that long, so I can only imagine it is a lack of training the employees. Please for the love of your business, train your employees correctly. There is no reason that making smoothies should take more than a couple minutes maximum. In the almost hour we would have waited i could have gone next door to King Soopers, gotten the ingredients to make our smoothies, gone home, made them ourselves, and had 30 minutes to spare. Judging by the other reviews if you don't properly train your staff your business will fail, take the time to do it right and you might still have a chance to succeed. If not I give you less than 3 months.
It isn’t that complicated to make a smoothie. I’m still sitting in the drive through line and have been on line 45 minutes. No way to get out of the line once you’re on it. Finally got to the window and paid so now I can’t leave but, 20 minutes at the window alone and no drinks yet…
Tried this location once’s while shopping nearby.. wasn’t greeted by the two young girls working, finally after a few mins one of them came over and got my order and then it look literally 20 minutes to get my smoothie. I was the only one in there at first and maybe there was a line in the drive thru but it sure seemed like a long wait and the customer service didn’t make up for it. I went to the location in Fort Collins or Loveland area and they were so kind and welcoming.
They never stay open until their posted hours. I looked specifically on the door when I walked by tonight to see what time closing was ...lobby at 8 pm. I tried to walk in at 7:45 and it's already closed. This has happened several times in the last few months. I get staffing is an issue right now but it's not hard to post the correct hours on the door and stick to them.
Great Service! Friendly Staff! I like the fact that they support a ton of community events. It feels good to spend my money with a company that gives back to our community.
I'm usually a huge fan of berry blendz- but I'm very unimpressed with the Northgate village location. I was there this evening and I pull up to the drive thru and it took probably 60 seconds for them to answer the speaker box then she shortly told me they'd be with me in a second, 3 minutes pass and she still hasn't gotten back to me. What makes this worse is that I just saw everyone inside talking and laughing. Then I go to the speaker box and get put on hold?? Very unprofessional. Then to make it worse, I got an orange crush, my FAVORITE it's simple but fantastic! Usually. I got it and it tasted like the orange juice was bad? It tasted freezer burned. Then when I came back through to get it remade the speaker box person was much nicer and faster but then I pulled up to the window and I was sitting there for 5 minutes without anyone greating me and/or telling me they'd be with me in a second. I assumed they were making my drink but I again see everyone inside talking(not working)I work at a coffee shop and if my manger ever saw this behavior we'd be written up. This is not what good customer service looks like. Needless to say I won't be back. It's not just that the drink wasn't fantastic it was the overall experience(.)
I have had ok drinks here before, but my last one was just awful. Strawberry banana, and there was no flavor. Just a bland icy drink.
There smoothies are very good but every time I have been to this location no matter if I’m the first in line or not, I have to wait 30+ minutes for at least 2 drinks. Every time I go back I hope there service is faster but ends up being slower. Great smoothies but very slow service.
Berry Blendz is delicious! And the help is super nice ?
