Always great selection of soups, sandwiches and salads. They are expanding they vegetarian/vegan items, though I wish there were more selections of these items.
FAST and friendly service. Food tastes great and is healthy. Love that we have a Zoup Eatery in Grand Junction.
My family and I came in for the first time this last week and we were so disappointed with the flavor of the soups. Not to mention the ladies at the counter looked lost and were not knowledgeable with the menu. When we had asked about a particular soup, she told us it was one of their rotating soups. My Mom asked "Okay. Well what is your rotating soup for today?" Got a blank stare and she started reading off the menu. Had to stop her midway. When asked when it would be on rotation, the answer we received was, and I quote "(Shrug) They just tell us what to do and we do it." The lack of knowledge about the products these people serve GETS SO OLD! White Chicken Chili was SO overpowered with Cumin, you couldn't taste anything else. The Loaded Baked Potato tasted like liquid smoke/fake bacon bits. And the Pepper Steak which was supposed to have chinese spices was so bland and tasted like canned Beef Stew. The bread was also chewy like it had been cut and sitting on the counter. The quality of service was well below what we expected and the soups left much to be desired. Went to McDonalds after tossing the soups.
Excellent little place. There were 7 of us and everyone was surprised that the food was so good! The people in our party from Grand Junction are adding Zoups! to their places to go for lunch and for dinner.
This is my first time getting zoups and omg delicious is all I can say, I got the Chicken Noodle, my daughter got the Pot Pie, and my son got the lobster one they were all so delicious .. I recommend getting the bread bowl it was so soft it was a perfect touch with the soup!! We will definitely order again!!
I absolutely love this place. Their soups are wonderful and so are their salads.
I honestly love this place! For the soup… I mean this place made me like soup! However, that is all it is good for. You want a salad? Go somewhere else. You want a sandwich? Go somewhere else. Man, the prices and the portions are not right. First and only time I got a sandwich I felt like I was robbed. Especially when I could’ve gone a block down to subway and gotten a bigger and better sandwich for the same price. So I decided to just stick with soup, but this last time I picked up a salad for my lady and they’re pretty pricey. The “whole” salads. I get home pull it out of the bag, and it’s the size of a side salad with literally three pieces of chicken in there. She said it didn’t even taste that great either. Great soup place, great environment and good customer service. I just do not agree with the cost they are charging for their items and the minuscule amount you get for that price.
To-go order at lunch so it was busy, but no dressing with the salad, and the salad is lacking the substance that you pay for. If there was lobster in the lobster mac, it must be the barest of shavings, couldn't even taste any. The French bread was very good. Spent $15, worth about $5.
The “really good chicken noodle soup” was less than average. And they forgot to put the bread bowl in for one of our meals. For a simple order, very disappointed.
We were so disappointed in our food. We landed in grand junction after hours on the round, excited for a good, healthy dinner option. The salads were suspiciously small- the dressing containers took up most of the small round bowl it all came in. Far too overpriced for what it was. I was charged $2 for exactly three thin shavings of chicken about 1-2” long. We understand supply chain issues are an issue right now but we were able to order other salads, from another restaurant, for less $ and a lot more produce.
