Mediocre at best, feel like this restaurant is relying on triple D’s rating. Dirty noisy and mediocre food
When we travel we try to hit restaurants that have been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and the place held up to the comments by Guy on the show. I had a hamburger and onion rings and my husband and I think they were the best we've ever had. Crispy and the onion was just al dente so when you bit in you weren't dragging out the entire onion. Drinks were good, bar tender was friendly. It was a great place and we'll be back if ever in Grand Junction again.
New to the area, we found this place which looked really cozy. Nice outside patio, good bar space with multiple TV's and a nice dining area. We went in for dinner and to watch the Avs game. The host told us the dining room was full for the night, but we could sit at the bar. We asked if a small table opened in the dining area, we would like to switch from the bar. HE said everyone in the dining area already told HIM they were staying for the game. There would be no availability. While sitting at the bar, we saw multiple groups come and go. We asked again, hey can we grab one of those small tables. His reply...there ALL reserved. We watch a few more folks come and go while we are enjoying really good appetizes, a couple of beers, waiting for our main course. Period 2, a young family comes in, HE says let me get a table wiped down for you. I ask to mother of the family, did you all have reservations? She says NO we just showed up. REALLY HOST!!! You know, it's one thing to be really full and honor reserved areas to be truthful about it. It's another to flat out lie about it. We won't go back!!! What a shame
Good Food, Cold Beer Friendly Atmosphere
Unimpressed. Took 1 1/2 hours to get a couple burgers and some nachos. Ended up having to get half our order to go since the kids couldn’t hang any longer. Worst hundred bucks i ever spent. Wait staff did their best and that’s why one star wasn’t given.Bummed we choose this place for our “out” meal while in grand junction.
Scotch Eggs!!! One of my favorite dishes and I have never seen it on a menu before. These were perfect and the Reuben with fried mushrooms was also very good!
I’ve been in the restaurant industry my whole life….. I support good service and proper customer service. I had one of the most rude bartenders I’ve ever experienced and will highly steer people away from this place due to an incident with bad people skills.
I had a hard time choosing what exactly to pick, everything sounded SO GOOD! My table ended up getting the chicken and waffles appetizer to share (we destroyed it) and I ordered the teriyaki burger with the pineapple slice and grilled chicken. Wow! Incredibly tasty!
the fried okra is yummy and they have the best ranch.
Great drinks, great food! We had the pickle fries as an appetizer. Some of the best around. For dinner I went with the taco trio. All three were lit, spicy pork was my personal fave. Would eat here again many times!
