The food and drink is always good. I do not recommended the location in North Ave though, there is not much atmosphere, plain restaurant (Grand Junction, CO. )
Great food, the sopapillas are unbelievable, the jalapeno margarita was perfect for a hit summer night. Very friendly and attentive staff.
My wife and I came here for Father's day dinner! It had been a while. Very pleased to report that standards of quality are still quite high here. Their margaritas are plenty strong and their enchiladas tasted really good. Way worth a visit.
Good food HOWEVER. We had a terrible experience because they over-served alcohol to the table next to us. They were yelling, cussing and disturbing the diners. They would not ask them to leave so we all had to put up with it.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I've been a long time customer and ALWAYS tip more than 20% and I get treated the way I did today! Absolutely unprofessional! I understand staff shortages, but when people who got there AFTER we did get their food first and I have screaming babies and ask nicely to just pay for my margarita so we can leave and get treated the way I did. We were there for an hour and a half, they didn't check to see if we wanted another drink once. Then try to tell me to RELAX after I get upset. I will NEVER GO BACK!
Amazing food.. yet thankful for a dd since she was muchly needed after 1 drink..
My wife and I have been eating here for years and it's always amazing. Prices are good, people are great, and the food is outstanding.
Delicious authentic food at a very reasonable prices. Service is so fast you never have to wait for your food!
This is a classic establishment with above average food. I was here for several meals and everything was good. Along with the chips and salsa initially brought to the table was a small side of cabbage with red onions and jalapeño. Move over coleslaw - this little dish is out of this world. I talked with the lady who made it, but my Spanish is not so good. Just enough jalapeño to give it a bite and I'm assuming it was tossed in a vinegar as there was nothing creamy about it. The salsa was also good: chunky and not overly hot with a lot of flavor. The house margaritas were traditional and very good. I ate tamales, steak ranchero, but the knock-out entree is their carnitas enchiladas. Good carnitas are hard to find and these were superb. Served with their green chili and what I think I remember (blame it on the margaritas) being feta cheese they were so good that I had them twice. The staff is warm and kind. A special nod to Jose - a true gentleman who made sure that I never ran out of anything. Just be aware that the plates coming from the kitchen are very hot and the portion sizes are very, very generous. My thanks to them all for a great place.
Went to North Avenue location. Had to ask server for water twice. We ordered one meal with no peppers and no mushrooms. Looked like they added extra of both when it came out. She dropped food and never came back to check on us. Walked pst our table 3 times delivering drinks to others and spent 5-10 mins chatting with a table that looked like a ladies night out, but never even looked our way. After 15 minutes of trying to get someone’s attention, my guest picked out what they could eat of the $20 meal…which wasn’t much. Tried to talk to someone about it but employee didn’t speak english and never sent anyone. Server came after we were done eating and simply asked if we needed boxes. Asking if our food was ok after delivering it is EXPECTED, but apparently a woman with a couple of teens who wasn’t ordering overpriced drinks apparently wasn’t worth her time. Not likely to return and I’ve been a loyal customer since the place opened. It’s gone to hell…
