I can't understand all the positive reviews. We went last night and found the frozen yogurt to be flavorless (and they don't allow samples, perhaps that's why), expensive ($25 for the two of us, before a coupon we had thankfully brought) and the toppings were so-so. We have been to much better frozen yogurt places (e.g. Summer Sweet in Colorado Springs). So... I am a fan of supporting local businesses but this one needs some improvement, I'm sorry to say.
This place speaks my love language: coffee and desserts made from scratch on the premises! I had the lemon cheesecake and it is the best I have ever had! I also had a Campfire Micha coffee and it did not disappoint. I also couldn't resist getting a Lavender Honey cake pop for later. If you go anywhere near Grand Junction do not make the mistake of not going to Sugar & Ice!
So the hidden gem here are the pastries, the ice cream and non-dairy ice cream/yogurt with topping bar is good but the pastries and baked goods. OMG!The mini Nutella cheesecake and the lemon or raspberry or ducle de leche cheesecakes, wow. The sweet breads, scones, muffins, etc… all really good! For freshest bestest choices go early on a weekday!
Excellent customer service happy positive environment
Some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Literally drank it all day at a seminar he sponsored that I got to attend. I try not to drink too much coffee anymore but I went all out and had one cup after another. Then I got to experience his super clean and amazingly well put together store front. The food I had was hand crafted and the whole place was full of professionalism and love. If you don’t try the cheesy biscuits and gravy you have the right to be disappointed in yourself. I can’t forget to mention the awesome FroYo combinations with a topping bar that takes up most of the store. Insane good eats and drinks, great people, and some super interesting wall art to boot!!! Thanx Tony!!!!!
I got the honeydew blender with boba. The flavor was great, boba actually had the right texture, and the price was completely reasonable. Also, the gal behind the counter recommended adding a bit of coconut flavor which... oh my god she's an absolute visionary.
Went for boba and ice cream, both were great!! The price was more than we expected, but I can understand why. We didn't get pastries, since that would have been overkill, but they looked amazing.
What can I say? It’s a breakfast for a king. Even though it’s 1:16pm on a Wednesday. I’m a broke college student with no social life. All I know is I can still get breakfast at Sugar and Ice. Thank you.
Slightly pricey, but really good quality sweet treats. I highly recommend it for fun with friends and snacks. Super nice and helpful staff who remember you and make you feel valued as a customer.
I first found this awesome little, Keto-friendly coffee shop and bakery in the kiosk at the mall. Tony, who runs the kiosk is super friendly and was glad to explain all of the different options that Suger & Ice Co offers besides excellent Italian roast coffee, which I used to make a great tasting "Bulletproof-style" coffee. So, I think this shop will quickly become known as a go-to keto bakery. Right now, I believe that they only offer some of the best keto cookies I've ever had, I hope they will add other keto confections and maybe even their own version of Bulletproof coffee. I just went to the main location on North Ave today, excellent service, excellent product- I recommend the giant chocolate chip keto cookie. I love this place!
