We went around 5:10pm and there were already several tables with people and eventually it was packed. We're from out of state but I could tell this was a local favorite. I loved the wall decorations with kimonos. I love that they give complimentary miso soup. The sushi was also really good quality for the price and delicious.I've been to dozens of sushi places in my life in the east coast and this place is one of my favorites.
This is our new sushi spot. My husband and I were very impressed with the sushi. The flavor combinations and quality of the fish are great. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff was very easy going. The sushi is also very affordable. Love it!
Wow what an unexpected treat! Thursday evening and the amazing farmers market in Grand Junction, we run into Suehiro! From the time we came in, the host the whole staff made us feel welcome we were served quickly and Tyler our server was excellence… knew the menu, had suggestions was quite engaging and delightful ! Can’t miss place!
Very nice experience overall. Food well prepared and hot. The only downside (for me) was that the vegetable stir fry was about 90% cabbage and carrots, with a few zucchini slices, one mushroom and one small broccoli floret. Not exactly the most appealing variety for a mixed vegetable dish. For the price, a more even mix would have been appropriate.
A very cool place. Food was well prepared and good too. Our plates were full, though there was a lot of cabbage padding. I was a little disappointed that although my dish, Calamari, had mushrooms specifically mentioned, there were only 4 very thin slices of mushroom. All in all a worthwhile experience though. Plenty of food, friendly service and a good atmosphere.
No taste Bland and very expensive
We ordered a lot of different sushi rolls and it definitely did not disappoint. Very delicious with a great presentation of the rolls. The service was amazing. The earlier you get there the better. The place fills up fast, and definitely worth it. Highly recommend this place if you like sushi and great service. Angela is absolutely amazing !
Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff! I love that they have options for vegan as well as the traditional sushi and it always tastes so good, the flavors are amazing and they're happy to accommodate. My son and I have lunch here every Saturday ?
Excellent and delicious food!
Our Friday night hour-long wait was to be expected and our table was smack in the middle of the most traffic the restaurant had, which I think, for me, affected my ability to just relax and enjoy. Nevertheless, our server was a dynamo (was she on roller skates??). She was attentive and FAST. The food was good, not the worst sushi I've had, but not the best either. If I felt like I needed sushi in Grand Junction, I would go back but I'm not sure it will be my go-to place.
