Generous portions and friendly service. Ordered the Green Supreme with cathead biscuit and Hobo breakfast with cinnamon roll. Yes, the cinnamon roll is that big!

From the moment my husband and I walked in we were treated like family. Bobette was our waitress and couldn't have asked for better service. The FOOD was absolutely incredible, the portions are insane ? not to mention the cinnamon rolls... They are sinfully good ?.
Literally made me puke. Had chicken fried steak skillet with a biscuit and a side of sausage. The good was the biscuit, the bad was the bland and dry chicken fried steak, bland gravy, almost no mushroom in the potatoes, the dry, bland, and super thin/small sausage patties, inattentive server, and the ugly were the dirty and uncomfortable booth (felt the frame through the "cushion") and the Exxon Valdez oil spill at the bottom of my plate. By the time I saw it, I already started feeling queasy and when I returned to work, my first stop was to the restroom to vomit and hours later, my stomach is still upside-down. I paid $25 to sit on the short side of a 2x4, vomit, and feel like garbage all day - nice! One and done...
The food was amazing and the service was even better! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My aunts and I are from Kentucky. We were recommended to go there and are sure glad we went! The owners family gave us amazing travel suggestions. It’s worth the drive from Kentucky to stop by!
I don't often give five stars but breakfast here at this time-warp (1987 anyone?) of a diner was FANTASTIC. The cinnamon roll was almost as good as my own :) , the eggs perfectly over-easy all nestled in my crispy hash browns. Bobbi, our server, was spunky and attentive. This has become my new go-to breakfast place! What a pleasant surprise!

Efficient waitress that was knowledgeable on the menu. Very clean and friendly atmosphere, and they have tons of these restaurants in town, so it’s clearly one of the local go-to for diner food. We didn’t try the famous cinnamon roll that everyone has reviewed about, instead we tried the country fried steak with the soup of the day, chicken poblano. We also ordered grilled cheese, onion rings, and mashed potatoes because I’m weird like that ?. The portions were generous in size and hot upon arrival to the table. The country fried steak was HUGE. Great local place to try, especially if your driving through. The service was actually very fast, so we didn’t feel as though we wasted too much time off the road as we are road-tripping. Close to Arches National Park, if you haven’t been it’s a MUST see!!
The place was busy and came highly recommended by two different people who used to live in Grand Junction. It did not disappoint. The food was wonderful. One of our kids was having a hard time and the staff was patient and kind about it.
