The menu *sounded* great. We ordered the charcuterie plate and crab cakes. The quality of what arrived for the charcuterie plate was a joke. No French bread, crackers from a box that more suited to a children's lunch than a "modern French restaurant". And the meat was also very low quality and looked and tasted like it was grocery store brand deli counter meat. The cheses were also of low quality and a step above american cheese. The crab cakes were sour and lacked depth of flavor. Will not be back.

Le Rouge offers a charming (and surprisingly social) atmosphere. The cocktails are top notch, made with excellent ingredients and not watered down. The staff are always pleasant and prompt. If you're looking for a relaxed, romantic night out, then Le Rouge is where you need to be.

The final stop on our Main Street restaurant culinary tour was not worth the price tag by a long shot. While the service was fine and the atmosphere nice, our cocktails were mediocre (especially the strawberry balsamic one, which tasted like a daiquiri, honestly), the crab cakes were small and nothing particularly special (the sauce on top tasted like the sauce on top of the flounder, which was the fish special that day), caprese salad tasted like what I could make at home for a fraction of the cost, the best part of my steak and fries were actually the fries (no joke!). I felt like I chewed that steak a LOT even though I like it pretty pink. By the end of the meal, I was dreading the bill and declined dessert (at this point, I didn't have high hopes for the tiramisu). The bottom of the menu contains something to the effect of: "If you've eat % of your food, we cannot refund your money" which is odd, truthfully. I really, really wanted to like this place. But I just didn't. Fortunately, I had great company so the evening wasn't a total loss.

I went here for the first time this evening! The bartender had bubbly personality and the drinks were fantastic! I will definitely become a regular at this business seeing as the aesthetic and Vivacious energy was exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend

The service by Jackie at the bar was fabulous!! This is an amazing place for a quiet meal by ones self, on a date, or with family!! Excellent wine and whiskey selection and they have an extensive martini menus!!

Wanted to eat there this evening but wasn’t open. Their website said they were open. Their chalkboard at the front door said open Monday-Saturday, open at 4:30 pm. They weren’t. Not a good way to run a business.

The menu is interesting and enticing; the execution is uninspired and, for lack of a better word, lazy. The New York strip was a grizzly, tough mess - we could’ve had a better cut from any grocery store in the state - and when told that it was almost too tough to eat, our waitress admitted that another customer had said the same thing earlier in the evening. 3 bland spears of asparagus, 3 soggy fingerling potatoes… On a happier note, our waitress was attentive, and the service was decent. In sum, we won’t be spending the cost of a pricey meal for two at Le Rouge, ever again. And please, amend the the spelling on the drinks menu; “Dessert cocktails” sounds so much more appealing than “Desert cocktails”.

I decided to treat my partner here for his birthday on March 5. It was our first time here. Service was fine but every aspect of our meal was served cool or lukewarm. The French onion soup, our $30+ entrees of duck and steak, and our crème brûlée all came out at a temp as if it had been sitting for some time waiting to be served. Cocktails were good. When I followed up via email the next day, the email address on their site was incorrect and rejected my email. So I sent an email to the address listed on their Facebook page, which did go through successfully. We are a week out now, and still no response or acknowledgement. For the amount of money we spent at a ‘fine dining’ restaurant, our experience did not match and it put a damper on our celebratory evening for sure. We won’t be back. Spend your money elsewhere.

Yes, they are expensive, but the food is really good. Great soup and perfect steak. The service is pretty good. We told them we had a concert to get to and they were very good about getting everything out to us in a speedy manner. Until the end, when they brought us the check and then never came to get the credit card, so we paid at the bar. I could see the service there being a problem if you aren’t proactive with it. We’ll go again for that steak though. If they are slow, politely just say something to them. Hopefully they will be more attentive.

Our dinner was superb! I had one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a date night. We'll definitely be back soon.
